Great inning. Cowan left a couple of sliders up, but he’s basically a fastball/change up only pitcher, so they were probably surprised he threw so many. Won’t be able to get away with too many of those after they’ve seen them and know he’s gonna throw them tonight. But after putting it in their heads, he doesn’t have to throw it again, and can make them beat that changeup into the ground and avoid the wind blowing out.
