I think going to Cowan is smart but he worries me against this line up. The lack of upper end velocity is concerning.

Hitters with any IQ cannot go down looking at FB on 2-2 and 3-2 counts. You have to look that and attempt to spoil off anything else at this level on those counts. These guys can’t throw enough other for strikes that you are not going to see plenty of FB in those pressure counts. Guys like jones don’t even react to the FB at all

He throws strikes early and we don't adjust and continue to take early pitches which are strikes.
We set them up to use their out pitch every time
