I’m not saying I want Arnold to transfer, but with Simon and Merrifield coming in, plus a potential transfer that could move Doughty off third, 2nd base is looking very crowded.

Honestly I think Berry is more likely to play 2B than 3B or 1B.

Believe me, Johnson and Berry have been in contact regarding this from the moment he accepted the job. Johnson knows where Berry will play!

Arnold will make a good player somewhere but the path to getting drafted starts will playing time. And if you aren’t guaranteed that at LSU, there are many places he could go to get noticed.

I said a week ago if LSU could pull both or either Susac or Berry it would be Phenomenal. Even to have this kid for one year is awesome! If it were to work out to just get his bat in the lineup other than a DH, I'd like to see Bryden Jobert play 1st base and move Morgan to CF just to get Joberts' bat in the lineup.
Can't wait to see what coach Johnson can do with Drost, Thompson, Bianco, and Milazo from a hitting standpoint!
Let's get 2 or 3 pitchers through the portal good enough to be weekend starters and ride, It's very possible!
