It’s less about weed and more of a byproduct of our stupid arse weed policy.

As far as I’m concerned o should have said once you’re gone you’re gone.

Imagine if the Bulls told this to Michael Jordan.

I hate the fact that the kid left, but if he wants back in you know damn well Coach O won't turn him away.

Which I can relate to. About a decade ago I got into that shite and gave me major mental health issues for a little while

See, how hard was that?

But then, wouldn't O know about that, and not set him up to be crucified by the comments he made yesterday?

That part came from a source I’m much less confident in. It also omits a key detail about current status that I’m just not going to be the one to publicly put out on a major message board.

Edit: Also again. Coach Os strong suit isn’t words nor PR

I don't get the impression that Orgeron knows very much about what's going on with his players and team this year

I mean I guess, but he says he talked to him about the potential opt out and then again when he mad the decision. Surely the reasoning had to be discussed, right?

Sure. Even if Coach O knows he wouldn’t come out and say the kid is having a bad time with Synth.

He would just come up with some poorly thought up excuse. Like he did.

But that wasn't some unscheduled interview. It was his weekly interview that he knows is coming every week. You're telling me no one had him ready with even a passable excuse for a response to the question they surely knew was coming?

Look, I'm very much on the record that O is incompetent. But even I find that hard to believe

I honestly can’t believe how naive some people are on here. The kid quit and walked out on his team what in the holy frick makes you think he’s going to walk back in that locker room? It was different for a guy like Neil Farrell who was a senior, had many family members with Covid and he opted out before the season and even posted a message that he would be back. He had standing in that locker room. This is a freshman who quit because things weren’t going exactly how he wanted them to and left an already depleted roster to fend for themselves. As a fan I would love to have him back but as a man I know I would have an issue with seeing him walk back in and expect me to trust him again. Kirby, Saban and Dabo already have their best bag men on the job so it’s a moot point. The kid is going for greener pastures. His character is one that obviously it doesn’t bother him being a quitter and that will always be a part of him so when things get tough he will most likely quit again.

It's more likely that he ends at Alabama than Georgia. They were his second choice originally. He got a close look Saturday night at what he could do there. I don't think it's a coincidence that he decided to quit now.

It’s academic. And like with Anthony Davis, it’s obvious what Gilbert’s metaphorically signing with Klutch to do.
