I'll put it this way...before the season I had us 7-3 at this juncture, and honestly, that's better than most had us at this point before the season started.

So we have exceeded my expectations for this year. So am I satisfied, the answer is yes for this year. Do I feel confident about our future for years to come? Honestly...no.

Satisfied? No. Happy? Yes. 10-2 with a potential big bowl and a top 5 finish is a very solid season.

A 10-2 regular season and an Access Bowl is a very good season. To me that should be the minimum goal. If you are consistently at least that level, you are in position to take the next step. What we don’t want is for this to be the ceiling.

So the first thing O and the staff need to do is finish that way, then build on that next year

It is much better than I expected at the beginning of the season.

Yes, very. I predicted 10-2 with L’s to UF and Bama before the season started. Everyone I told thought I was delusional

lol, yeah your right, Les has been left far behind in the annals of LSU football, by the the unshakable legacy O has established, multiple SEC Championships, I can’t count the number of National championships he has played for, but at least he can sniff a NY6 bowl game. Enjoy the sniff, then get your Citrus Bowl tickets early, I hear they’re going fast.
Moron, try quoting my whole post next time.
Oh yeah, lol

Not with how they are playing. And no chance at competing with Alabama

Remind me of all the teams that have competed with Alabama.

Yes.

I had us losing to Miami, Auburn, UGA and Alabama at this point.

Didn’t buy into Miss State or Florida, and even though I was right not to buy into UF, they still beat us.

lol, remind me of all the teams that scored on Alabama?
Also for fairness, remind me of all the teams that only beat Arky by one score?
Enjoy the Citrus Bowl, tickets are going fast. lol

If it helps us recruit offensive linemen in the future then, yes I’m happy. Coach O has squeezed a lot of blood out of this turnip. I had them at 8-4 for the season. Could they lose to aTm...yes

Auburn has won the SEC W 3 times since 2010, that’s the year after Saban’s first title at Bama. The willingness of same fans to accept 2nd tier status is sad considering what it’s been shown our program can accomplish

Clemson. Ohio state. Auburn has won the damn west a couple of times by beating them. I am not saying domainte bama every year but should be able to beat them every 3 or 4 years and win division. Back in 2011 LSU was on the same level as them. Funny how people keep making excuses for falling way behind. What is orgeron doing to close that gap? I simply don’t see it.
