Anyone that says JJ hasn't offered anything, is ignorant. He ran with purpose yesterday.

Yesterday he was an asset.
Still dont like they opened up seoncond half with him.
At first this was gonna be a situational player.
Then last week into turned into a few series.
This week he started the 2nd half.

I dont get,... and frankly dont really care anymore.
We are winning.
So thats about all I can say.

Why not? He was effective.

Actually I think you do. You really really don't want Jefferson to play at all do you? You would prefer that he never play another down for LSU. Be honest with us now.

There is room on this team for the talents of both men. Unfortunately there are too many "fans" who believe otherwise. They let emotion color their judgment. Perhaps that's why they are sitting in the stands and not munching grass on the sidelines.

B/c JLEE is the starting qb of this team... That is why.
The results that JJ had (good or bad) have absoltuley no bearing on this opinion.

The mother fricking troll is obvious.
Its amazing the assumptions "fans" such as yourself can conjure up.

I think having JJ back is a definite asset. I think LSU fans comparing his ability to Cam Newton, Tim Tebow, and Vince Young after yesterdays performance is psychotic. Some of our fanbase are retarded.

Maybe I watched the wrong game. I thought I saw Lee start the game. What did I miss? What are you complaining about? Who got the majority of the plays?
The second string QB came out to open the second half. How does that alter the status quo? Can't coaches make substitutions?

Then why are you in a snit because Jefferson started the third quarter? Do you think that event in any way threatens Lee's position? And if so what do you base this on?

I wouldn't say boring is the right word, predictable certainly is. You definitely know what is coming, and it isn't necessarily boring.

This.

As I have been saying all along, put one of our more talented runners in the wildcat if that's what you want. Ware, Shep, Ford.

If you could look at the QB situation with out any personal bias you would see that JJ fits the system CLM wants to run more than JL. Passing is an afterthought in our offense. No defense has stopped stacking the box trying to stop the run, even with the "threat" of JL passing. As the season moves forward you will see more JJ than JL just deal with it.

Disagree...I am fine with the offense and excited to watch either one play. Bottom line, the next play could be a 10 yard brutal run or a Randle/WR long touchdown. Granted it is not watching the Saints offense but it is FAR from the past couple of years predictability...

I’m not a fan of JJ being the starting QB. However; I do think he adds to the arsenal. I also think they are deliberately holding back on JJ passing. I remind everyone of the cotton bowl. The fact that people including Miles says he has improved. I think we will see JJ used much different against the gumps. I believe Bama is the one team that Miles has the most want to beat and will enjoy that, I promise you.

I believe that JJ has a role on this team and in the end LSU fans are going to be glad that he was on the team. If we were to lose Lee to injury, we are in better shape than most other SEC teams. JJ may not be your favorite, but during the remaining stretch, I would rather have him than inexperience.

I was at the game and I thought JJ presented a bit of a boost and was glad to see him direct the offense on that long drive. I know this will not be popular- I call on everyone to give the guy a break. He is on the team; none of us can change that. Don’t miss what appears to be a special season, because of being upset over or worried about something that probably will not happen i.e. JJ taking the starting role. We are freaking 7-0 and have won every game by DD. Geaux Tigahs!

I have to bring this stupidity to attention.

quote:

How much credit are you giving to JJ for the 99-yard drive? He ran it once (that I remember...a QB sneak), threw a couple of poor incompletions, and handed it off the rest of the plays.

I would argue that that drive happens with JJ, JL, or Mett in the game. In fact, the following drive with Lee looked very similar, just didn't start at the 1 yd line.

I think the biggest reason you are bored is that you aren't actually watching the games. You might want to get on that before commenting.

30-Drew Alleman kick attempt good.
LSU 31, Tennessee 7

Drive: 16 plays, 99 yards, TOP 08:55

Looks like five carries for 40 yards to me. Or in simple terms, over 40% of the yards on the drive due to his rushing.

You're probably right though, Lee or Mett probably do the same thing.

But you are one of the biggest JJ haters on the board, so it really isn't surprising.
