our D would dominate our offense with JJ as the qb imo.
They would dominate our offense with any qb. Same with the rest of the offenses in he country. If we cant, then we arent winning a bcs championship.
Plus bama hasnt allowed any backs to rush on them. Most of the stats against em are from qb rushes.

Yep. I hate 99 yard TD drives. I also hate 70 yard TD drives.

No, not really. He does some things well.
Having said that, I am very happy that JL is the starter. We have a passing game this year that while not spectacular, is very effective.
I think they can both help us win both the SEC AND BCS!!!!!!!

I'm not bored, but I do get extremely nervous.

You should stop showing your bitter arse, and accept that you are clueless.

Bored is not the right adjective.
Nervous, perplexed, angry (at times), fulfilled? Yes.
I am just still shaky about JJ's PT making Lee insecure, but with each passing second, that anxiety goes away and it seems as though Lee knows he doesn't have to fear for his job.
We were watching the beginning of the 99 yard drive and even by the end of the drive we were still confused and wondering where Lee was.
The run after run after run after option keep after qb sprint draw after run initially looked ineffective. Then, stats come up and 6 yards a tote and three quarters of a buck on the ground in limited play? Solid. Lee and JJ combined = very solid.
Tommy Hodson and Mickey Guidry helped us win an SEC title in 1986 thanks in large part (besides a stud, kick arse defense) to the former's arm and the latter's feet and timely touchdown throws. Both enjoyed each other's success and I hope Lee and JJ can do that. Much like this team, the '86 team had many young and/or inexperienced skill players. Beckham, Ware, Blue, Ford, Hilliard, Landry, Clement, Boone, etc. are all young but thankfully thay have two senior quarterbacks, and experienced line, and a future almost already trusted stud in Mett. Bottom line is that JJ is definitely causing more good than harm. Right now he is anyway.

You're a Hawg fan, why wouldn't it bother you?

JJ played extremely well yesterday, and didn't force much when he was in the game. he led a freaking fantastic drive that basically crushed tennessee's morale. what more can you ask for?
JJ took a page from the Lee playbook and played within himself.

I was a little concerned about the effect that JJ's presence would have on JL's confidence, but I must stay that I think the quarterback rotation is effective. JL has been very efficient and his success gives the coaching staff the option of using JJ as a running quarterback. If JJ were the starter, I'm not sure that they would run him as much for fear of injuring our starting quarterback.
When JJ runs, he has 10 blockers in front of him rather than the 9 that the other runners have after the QB hands them the ball and then watches the rest of the play. Defenses have to adjust to account for that.

Yes! I do not understand all the JJ love in this place. Sure he ran for 76 yards and led us on a 99 yard drive where we did not complete one pass, but when he is in the game we look very much like last years team. And didn't most of this board hate our offense last year? He completed one pass all day and once again decided to tuck and run on 90% of the plays where he actually dropped back to throw. I know our receivers are board and regardless of how many rushing yards he had we ultimately need a QB to be a threat to throw down field.
