Not to get into a playoff/BCS debate, but that's almost why I prefer the BCS.

yea cause otherwise osu would be out in the first round every year

j/k

Actually, I think there have been six separate times in the past 15 years where OSU would have had at least a small shot at a NC with a playoff, and we only have one to show for it.

Wow...a Big 10 fan telling us he likes the BCS the way it is. Sure if we would get waxed on the field... have no right even being there...I would be happy about it too.
Now go back to your own board...you are just a waste of energy for our conference.

A bit of both.

I mean, we're taking care of business, especially lately, and beating all the teams we're supposed to beat.

But we don't have a single quality win yet.

Sorry to have to remind everyone, but the SEC sucks this year.

A little of both. We had one bad game all year and that was in a place where most non-conference teams go to die. We held our own with Xavier on a night when only one starter shot his average and many are touting them as a team that could win it all this year. LSU has a tremendous advantage over most opponents in experience and that could mean a lot in post-season play. I believe there's only a handful of teams in the country today that you'd say LSU "just can't beat". This team could beat most teams in the country on an average night (remember there are over 340 teams playing Div.I ball) and could beat most of the others when playing their "A" game IMHO.

Take away an 8 minute drought and we beat #10 Xavier and are ranked in the top 20.

So, both.

At one point recently we were averaging a 15 pt. margin of defeat over SEC teams.

So, both.

I think LSU is solid but not deep enough or talented enough in the frontcourt to perform at their current level in the "power" conferences this year (ACC, Big Ten and Big East). They'd be a threat every night but they wouldn't have the glitzy record they now own. JMHO.
