Got it. I couldn't log onto ESPN app with any of my Charter info. Frustrating. Any ideas?

i am not sure about that, i know my son's xbox is about 2 years old.
someone this morning mentioned that you had to have xbox live gold membership to be able to get online. i guess i have that, since i was able to watch the games

Watching ESPN3 on Xbox is better than watching ESPN on cable TV.
If you can't record it and watch delayed so that you can skip the commercials then it's not better.

quote:Thanks. No worries. The laptop to TV worked with no effort at all. Just unplugged the hdmi from the dvd player and right into laptop. The tv did not care. The only other thing I did was hit full screen. Took me a while to notice the curser was in the middle of the TV.
Sorry, just the Xbox 360.

The huge ESPN Commercial Break graphic wore a hole in my eyeball!! How much add revenue is being lost by this dead air b/w innings
Wait, you'd rather watch dumbass commercials, no thanks. I had no issues, streamed from my phone to my tv through my apple tv. Worked great.

Have to log in with your primary charter email address and not your charter userid. Was confusing at first.

Well my personal laptop took a shite. Can't watch on work laptop. So I could care less if espn 3 went away. I'm not buying a laptop to watch the game. I think it's bs that Louisville was on all weekend and we didn't get one on regular tv

I was pretty disappointed they didn't carry one of our games on the u. They carried the boring arse k-state game but not one of ours. Yeah i a homer but we have the national appeal

I thought it odd that, as much promo as ESPN was giving their coverage of all the regionals, when Sports Center came on during the wkend, there were only tickers run at the bottom of the screen giving the scores. No on the air story lines or scores enmasse.

Considering its OU, I have a feeling well get one of the top stations.

i watched it threw my son's x-box. didn't have any problems, other than the same commercials playing over and over again
I have to say, I found it amusing that they kept playing the UL-LA-LA, UL-LA-LA French open commercial over and over again...I knew it had to be pissing the USwL...ULL fans off.

Not reading the whole thread. Sure it's been said. All and I say ALL super regional games are televised.

I wanted to hook the game up to our new HDTV in the den so my 81 year old pawpaw didn't have to look at a computer screen, but I couldn't get the sound right on the tv from the internet feed.
Yeah, I had this problem at first too.
Try turning the TV off and then back on when the computer is ON and plugged into the TV.
It seemed to make a difference to mine that when the TV came on the input feed was already there for it.

Depends entirely on how it's hooked up from your laptop. If you're using an HDMI cord, the sound should run through. If you're just using a VGA (monitor) cord, that only carries video.
