Watching ESPN3 on Xbox is better than watching ESPN on cable TV.
This. I've never really used the ESPN Xbox App, but it was very impressive this weekend. Video quality was top notch, and I could easily flip from baseball games to sportcenter updates.

Womans CWS will be over Wednesday.
Espn2 should pick up most of the games.

Watch espn app on the Droid was awesome.
Watched games on my phone while beach dining in a restaurant.

While I can see how some would prefer the computer/tablet/smart phone ability to watch the game, it was mostly dog shite. 90% of us were scrambling in some way. For me, I was trying to find a fricking cable to link the computer to the TV. Ended up just watching on the laptop and resetting the browser every third inning to keep from getting grainy reception. Have a great internet connection with no other draws off my wifi or hard wired internet...just kept screwing up. It did prompt me to get a new computer with an HDMI output since I can certainly see some advantages in the future. Charter service to WatchESPN IPad app was dicked up, so AppleTV was useless.
I think the MASSES disagree with this and obviously the ability to comfortably watch a game like we've grown accustomed to was quite random this weekend.
Please, ESPN, give the #1 team in the national some decent coverage and let us watch our boys on the TV from here on.
Great weekend of baseball and congrats to the tigers.

I don't use my charter email and so had to log in to charter to see what it was to be able to log in to watch espn.
Other than that it worked great.
In the past, hardly none of these games would be shown. We are spoiled with the jumbo networks of the past.
I would love to see the viewer stats for all of the games this weekend.

I wanted to hook the game up to our new HDTV in the den so my 81 year old pawpaw didn't have to look at a computer screen, but I couldn't get the sound right on the tv from the internet feed.
he watched his MLB game but I did manage to hook it up on the tv in the kitchen.
the video quality would stay at 5 bars for an inning or so but then drop to 1. I don't mind 1 bar for something only i'd watch, but when the whole family wants to watch, it won't do

Btw, guts, NBC shows NFL games online and it's pretty cool. You can choose which camera you want to watch, get allot of stats and have the raw feed during commercials like the early days of satellite TV.
Hdmi port on a laptop is gold.

I hate ESPN3. I had my wifi monitor running on my laptop with a clean strong signal and that fricking espn 3 shite kept going out, but only during the broadcast, not during the commercial breaks.

Yes, thanks, I'm looking forward to it. I certainly see the advantages once I can get it dialed in. I must've driven 30 miles yesterday morning cable hunting.

I agree completely. While I personally was impressed with ESPN 3 on Xbox, my grandfather and father were frustrated and used to CST/ESPN traditional networks. They both were confused and ended up just listening to the game.

I agree with the comments about the ESPN app on the xbox. It was awesome and I watched a lot of games i wouldn't have normally watched as it was so easy to access. Also the split screen was nice too.

I have a wifi TV, but it's two years old and doesn't have a normal browser or the ESPN 3 app. I went to Radio Shack and Office Depot looking for the right cable--at both places the salesmen looked at me and said, "LSU game, right?"
and per LSU Baseball on Facebook, all games will be on ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU.

Android phone and an ipad with the watchespn app.
On a hotel wifi.
I think the app must do a better job of buffering. Had a few problems, but only as I walked into really bad wifi areas, like in the elevator.
