We most certainly are, you high horse prick. We did not compete with them. That's the issue. We're not anywhere close to them. Our offense is a national embarrassment, and it is 100% coaching.

I can't? Why bother even playing the game then? What a pathetic mindset to have.

It's one thing to hope to win against a Dynasty with the best QB they've had maybe ever, its completely different to expect a win.

Me too. I’d try anything at this point....

But mostly, I’d concentrate on getting 5 star linemen

At least make a game of it. Only two, repeat two trips into scoring territory resulting in ZERO points, and under 200 yds in total offense. Let that sink in. Yes it is the coaches fault, all day long. Worse scheme ever.

If they scored 20, it's still a loss.

lol. All they needed to do in this ga
S was a odd a safety. And they still would have won a d we’d be in the same exact position.

Here’s what I think about that: when a head coach says after a devastating loss he needs to recruit better players, knowing he has a room full of 4 & 5 star recruits, the rest of the season & a bowl game left to play then YES, that’s a coaching problem. Think of how great it would work if as an employer you held a staff meeting and told all of your employees you needed to hire better people to get the job done. I bet that morale would be waaaay up there, I tell ya.

We're a way better team than most of us expected, yet when we lose to Bama, suddenly we need change lmao
I predicted 9-3, so we're around where I imagined. I don't think we need to huge changes, but if we ever want to beat a Saban coached Bama team, it's pretty obvious that something different needs to be done. I believe O is a very good coach and has a good staff, but the proof is in the pudding. It's looking more and more like we're just going to have to wait out Saban's retirement. If they get Tua's little brother, and he's even close to as good, we're probably screwed against them for the next 4-5 years.

For gods sake, its not simply the loss. 24-14 or 31- 20 would have been not liked but a hell of a lot easier to swallow than a 29-0 kick in the nuts beat down IN OUR OWN frickING HOUSE!

We been blaming coaches for 20 years for defeats. Why is it suddenly not the thing to do? Who calls all the shots in the game? This shite would be funny if it wasn't so sad. The coaches were given lots of praise for the Georgia win. Now, they are going to catch shite for this cluster. Nothing new about that.

Pretty sure they're 3 and 4 star and not a lot of them. He's telling the truth and if anything that'll light a fire under the players' arse. frick any soft politically correct bullshite. This is football, if you're sucking dont expect to have it sugar coated for you like it was under miles.

Okay, 3 & 4 star recruits.... whatever. Obviously the players had a huge role in the loss (duh) BUT there’s a reason coaches don’t typically come out of a loss and place blame on their players. How often does that happen? I’m not a coach-basher. I love Coach O and the rest of the coaching staff (for the most part). He may not have meant it how it sounded, and he might not be wrong, but coaches don’t typically do that. Psychology and morale plays a huge role in coaching.

It's better players in the trenches. It's not the coaching or scheme if there is nowhere to run or no time to throw your fricked. Recruit better players and I believe we are.
