What a ridiculous question. She’s an all American and championship mvp. Of course you need her.

It is partly about Kent St though. They don't have true big post presence to exploit the absence of Angel.

With...
But she needs an NIL...I drive a Mercedes... knot yanked in her arse...
She is fat and happy, smelling her own turds right now, and Caitlyn Clark is hungry to poke that ring finger in her face and set the record straight.
Angel is not hungry.

You're kidding right? Without Reese, we would be mediocre team. She is the leader and captain of the team, the rebound queen, the double double queen, all-american, and MVP of NC and Final 4.

Undoubtedly better with her.

That being said, she's not without her flaws. People who don't watch WBB will parrot her statistics claiming she's some sort of god or transcendental player. Angel is undoubtedly great, but her stats are a bit inflated.

She tends to be a black hole on offense at times, and this showed up last year, especially when she actually had to play against equivalent competition down in the post. She's incredible at accumulating stats against inferior competition, but she comes back down to Earth when challenged. I'm looking for Kim Mulkey to push her to develop as a playmaker and an outside scorer, even if it means developing a midrange. I'm tired of seeing Angel take a terrible layup over multiple defenders hoping to get an offensive rebound and put it back up. It cost us some games last year and it might cost us more this year.

We lost 2 games last year. And I’m not sure either one of them were on Angel.

When the offense has had struggles this season, it hasn’t been because Angel was forcing up shots. It’s because the team is trying to figure out how to work with one another and who should the offense run through. They have all taken their fair share of rushed shots this season.

I'm well aware of the number of games we lost lol.

Her tendency to take those types of shots was why we lost to Tennessee in the SEC tournament. Do you not remember our last shot of the game being Angel forcing a layup over four defenders instead of passing to an open teammate?

And we got blown out by SC because she tried forcing her same style against Boston who locked her up. 5-15 from the field with only 4 rebounds. Alexis Morris had more rebounds than her. Undoubtedly Angel is one of the best players in the country but its undeniable that she struggles when she faces strong competition. She is not versatile enough to adapt to stalwart defense and tries forcing her style; that's the reason why I would like to see her develop as a playmaker and a jump shooter.
