If by some grace of God the oline can keep Etling upright LSU has the talent on the outside and at running back to compete in this game.He doesn't have to be Drew Brees back there but he will need some help. On defense as long as they don't gash LSU up the middle running the ball and force them to pass the ball the defense will be fine.

I honestly don't know.

If Auburn is as good as everyone thinks they are now, then I'd say LSU is looking solid for the remainder of the season. Especially since the reason we lost is no longer coaching at LSU.

Gun to my head, I can't pick LSU to beat Bama next week, but it would absolutely not surprise me if we pull off the upset.

All you can do is think you are good until proven wrong. I used to think I was smart until the world proved me wrong 2500 times. Now I know

Not sure but I dont think we beat this Bama team. Somebody mentioned a FR QB? So.....he hasnt played like one.

Plus we cant control the refs...and they will decide who wins this game.

We need some weird schit to happen to pull this off.

Pass and run defense is better. Pass offense is better. Bama is a very disguised 2012 Auburn offense. They have as many problems as LSU has had offensively but teams refuse to play them as a power run team because they don't understand that they are lining up in spread to hide their weakness.

Because it had been glaringly obvious what keeps us from being competitive with
Bama. If you follow LSU football, you can see things are totally different. And it isn't just Bama, it's pretty much everyone we played.

We have a few things in our favor:

1. Tiger Stadium
2. We have a very good football team
3. No Miles

Plus, this will be the first time in a few years that Saban doesn't have to just dust off his LSU game playbook.

She's right. It's just that most here are creaming themselves so much over wins against 2 tomato cans, and a mediocre Ole Miss team that i doubt they realize just how big of a difference the talent level from those games to this game is going to be.

Jalen Hurts has been really good thus far. However, the atmosphere and our defense will be a huge factor.

The reason is those wide open gaps he had against all other SEC competition will be far and few between unless there is some busted coverage on our part.

Plus, I like the Arden Key/T. Bower matchup against Cam Robinson. He struggled against the Vols. So, I know he will have a difficult time against Key unless of course, Key is double teamed or held in every possession.

We are back to playing to our potential. Our potential is pretty good. Are we goo enough? I hope so.

You don't mean the same mediocre Ole Miss team that decimated Bama's secondary by putting up 43 points, do you?

Plus, with E. Jackson out this game. Bama's secondary will have a difficult time covering Dural, Dupre, Chark and our TE's will run away from their LB's, if used correctly.

I'm jacked and ready. The loss when we had Mett,Hill and gang made me thinknow it takes a lot of luck to beat Bama. Especially at TS.Seems like they win there more than at home

How did he struggle against the Vols? They put 49 points on the board.

I'm sure the 49 points on offense wasn't all of Cam's. If you rewatch the game, Barnett had Cam on his toes all night. He ended the night with one sack, one interception and a forced fumble. Only issue is he can't do it all by himself since many of their starters were out.

LSU, on the other hand, has a lot more playmakers and Arden Key could possibly pose a nightmare matchup against Cam!

Bama passing vs LSU pass D advantage LSU
LSU wide receivers vas bama secondary advantage LSU
LSU front 7 Vs bama running game push
Bama front 7 vs LSU OL advantage bama
Special teams adv. Bama
Kiffin vs Aranda Push
Pruitt vs Ensminger hard to tell but I'd say slight advantage BAMA
Depth adv. Bama
Home field LSU
Refs adv. Bama

I think it will be a great game and come down to the turnover battle

I think if we don't turn the ball over, contain hurts, and control their Defensive front we have a great chance. We also can't play from 2 scores behind all night. All of those things will be very, very difficult to accomplish. I hope we give them hell.

I guess it depends on how good you think we are. I don't believe we are good enough to beat Bama without running well on them. We are a running team despite the good work Ettling is doing.
