Nope, sure won't. I never booed him last year and I'm not about to start. Booing your own player is just not cool, no matter how much he may be sucking

There were some retards booing the Tigers at the halftime of the 07 Auburn game. They were even so bold as to ask me why I was clapping as the team went into the locker room at the half.
How the hell can you call yourself a Tiger fan and not only boo the guys at halftime, but question someone who is cheering the team on? I was pretty amazed by the blatant assholish-ness of it.
ETA: in other words, I wouldn't be suprised at anything some assholes would do.

If Lee starts and throws a pick six against Washington he should finish his career at back up. I think Jefferson earn the right to start the first game and it is up to him to keep that spot until he completely chokes.

a better question may be, is there anything LSU or WE can do to help stop people from booing our own players ? some sort of campaign ?

Unfortunately, no. It's the only time I've ever yelled at other fans at a football game. Funny thing is that I always thought I'd be drunk and it would be opposing fans when I did.
These guys weren't regulars. This was the first and last time I ever saw them in our section. They were yelling stuff like "Run Hester! Run Hester!" sarcastically the whole game.
It was two guys and they were booing as the team walked in. I started cheering the team on. One of the guys calls out to me "Why are you cheering?"
I lost my s!@t and yelled back "Because they're the F!@king Tigers!"
The fact that the question would even be asked set me off. I'm usually not the guy to yell at someone.
Best part: When we were on that last drive, Hester broke off a 20 yard run to get us into Auburn territory. I turned to the guys and yelled "They ran Hester! They ran Hester!" Even they had to crack a smile.
