Your post was factually incorrect regarding Fields' reason for leaving Northwestern and that "all fans" are happy if he is leaving LSU.

don't think that any of the players receive a full ride since the team is only allotted just under 12 full scholarships. So, they end up giving partials to everyone. Rhymes just said forget it, I don't financially need it.

Oh wow.
I was going to leave 'rag's comment alone, but...

I have to admit, Arby made spectacular catches of some routine fly balls.

offensively, i should have said .. i thought overall watkins was better offensively .. he had his moments at the plate .. he did suck getting late jumps on balls in LF .. but i never really looked at Arby in even Leon Landry's league defensively .. of course, Landry was here a helluva lot longer ..

and my last impression of arby was the error on the routine base hit in the second oregon state game that cost us a run .. that could have easily bitten us in the arse ...

So we cut the only guy on the team that can run b/c we can't teach him to hit... awesome.

Just going with the thread ... a little hyperbole I know.

Obviously all the players not mentioned in the article have been cut from the team.

Are you saying Eades has left the team?

People forget that Trey Watkins was a damn good lead off hitter until he collided with Nola against UGA and fricked up his elbow.

That was the end for him as his swing and confidence were never the same after that.

People don't realize that he is still at LSU as a student, he just didn't want to play baseball anymore.

technically, he didn't collide with nola .. he dove for a ball in foul territory with his left arm twisted and nola fell on it .. sadly, if trey had gotten a normal jump on that ball he would have caught it standing up well before nola got there .. it was wrong place at the wrong time .. but yes, i agree, he struggled hitting after that .. but did drive in the winning run vs. UC-Irvine in the 2010 regionals ..

The man saw him somewhere and asked a question.

I left to play summer ball before and had to move all my stuff out because my lease was up. Now I only had to ship it to NOLA but I did take my tv and ps1 (yea I'm old ) up with me. Arby shipping it all back to Cali opposed to storing it at a storage place for 2 months doesn't make much sense to me.

IMO Arby was a descent ball player and considering it was his first full-time job in the SEC I thought there was room for improvement. I wish him luck in which ever direction he goes

Me, either....hence my question in my original post. Maybe he plans on buying all new stuff when he comes back to BR in August.

I'm not sure you realize how accurate your statement is, as written

So this post consists of the following:
1. OP saw hims shipping stuff at UPS Store
2. Some other guy whose cousin knows him and never reported back
3. Some random tweet from a HS kid.

Maybe we can connect the dots at some point.

I like Arby, really hope he's not gone.

No link so don't ask.
Conversation with a player the night of exit interviews. Arby is gone.Their interviews with PM were scheduled close together so he talked to AF after AF met with PM.
Player wasn't really surprised because of the way PM had dog-cussed AF as he made OF mistakes or had poor ABs.Rest of team heard him while AF was on the field.
