No, because he will finish the year with us. He ain't going to leave tomorrow

We don’t know this. Even if he coaches the playoffs he may not coach 100%. Look at what chavis did us. And if Aranda really is leaving to make less money than obviously something happened between him and O.

I’m telling you O is about to hire Clancy Pendergast and we are about to run a 4-3/5-2 defense with a lot man coverage and blitzing. Similar to when he was at USC.

Meh..

Smart man..... aranda didn’t change the scheme magically 3 weeks ago. O got way more involved and had Busch with him. The relationship has taken a hit over the last year. This is a change being forced on Aranda.

i dunno if you have any sources or just speculating but this would make more sense than Aranda just wanting to be a head coach and picking UNLV......RIGHT NOW.

I think if Aranda stays on for the Playoffs he will coach it his all. This isn't some mediocre bowl game.

This board is so reactionary and stupid.

Aranda would be a significant loss to this team, and he wouldn't be easily replaced like people think.

It's the fricking playoffs, not a music City bowl with an 8-4 team.

While true, this season showed he isn't infallable and there are plenty of other coaches who could have done what he did this season. Yeah it ended fine, but we let anyone who wanted to score get in the endzone.

I agree. And the timing is just awful.

I don’t want him to leave and I was frustrated with him at times. But the D is playing its best right now. This is an unwanted distraction.

Aranda is the highest paid DC in the country. LSU will get whoever they want if he leaves. Who wouldn't want to get more $$$ or be the highest paid DC of a possible championship team?

The D wasn't use to the place the offense was going, they were wore the frick out by the 4th in most games. Hell, the place LSU scored probably shocked everyone.

Really hoping this is another one of those “Les Miles to Michigan” moments.

I lived there for 15 years, recruiting is damn near impossible. I don’t see how playing in an NFL stadium changes that. Most people are working their service industry jobs during the time games are played. Crowds are nonexistent.
