Aranda needs help improving LSU's defense, just like Orgeron provided help for LSU's OC

Many are pointing to the second half, that Aranda found the right adjustments for LSU's defense, but did he really? Fla had three long drives in the first half and three long drives in the second half. Coach O helped Ensminger improve LSU's passing efficiency with Brady, and improved LSU's running efficiency with USC former coach John Robinson. Too many times Fla gained a first down on 3rd and long. That seems to be a key area LSU needs to address. You may see other areas.
Anyone who disagrees, don't explain to me why I'm wrong, explain to me why you don't care. LSU's offense is already championship caliber, it's LSU's defense that will either assist or deny the Tigers of winning a national title. Don't let this great opportunity slip away, maybe some of Coach O's analysts can help.

Alabama has struggled vs teams who can mix in a good zone coverage.
Aranda has been trying to get our guys to run a zone well, knowing he will need it in 4 weeks vs Alabama.

I love Aranda as a DC. He's great. IMO, the quality offenses, in college, are slightly ahead of the defenses at this point in time.

If so, he should pay them out of his salary.
He gets paid to be the best. If he isn’t the best and needs help (as you suggest)...
What the hell are we paying him for?

Here’s the deal. Our D has not really been in real trouble all season. Until they are, we won’t really know how good they are.
Also, statistically speaking our defense is very good considering how quickly and efficiently our offense scores. Usually teams with these types of offenses are fine going to a shootout. We have proven to be able to make big stops at times.
Everyone needs to settle down on the defense. However I can concede it has looked bad at times while we are paying Aranda handsomely to make sure it doesn’t.

If true? Then it would appear that every DC would need more help in solving this puzzle. The football program who does will dominate college football.

I don’t think someone like Aranda just struggles for no apparent reason. D has had issues with injuries, but this happens every year for every team. I feel this is more about running different concepts similar to Clemson from NC game. Does the struggle look worse bc of multiple new concepts, injuries and figuring out the correct personnel? Maybe so. Does that mean a new assistant? I dunno

Twitter was set a blaze with many LSU fans calling for more of this, instead of rushing three or four at the line.
