You aren't the first one to say this exact thing and still no link.

All good coaches are weird dudes. It's the nature of the profession.

He's actually VERY VERY quiet and introverted. Intense in his craft and not wordy......

I suppose weird.

He strikes me a a "savant" type. Doesn't want to be real social, just wants to show up and do his job to the best of his ability.

Maybe that's why it was reported that he's not really too motivated to take a head coaching role

Not bashing but have you ever heard him speak publicly? I had a chance to attend a benefit dinner that he was the guest speaker of right after he was hired as DC. Dude spent the entire time talking about his life, where he came from, and his thought process. Extremely intelligent and came off very personable. He also came and introduced himself to all the high school coaches that were in attendance.

Not weird but definitely not outgoing. Which is why I believe if he leaves it will be for a NFL job. Do not have to recruit and sell the program as much.

Yeah. I have a hard time seeing someone like that as a HC.

He is probably great at 1 on 1 recruiting though.

Here is a video of him being interviewed.

Very intelligent. Doesn't look real comfortable with a mic.

I approve of this. He's worth whatever they gave him. Call me crazy but I think this just might work.

The defense will be just fine under Aranda. No worries there.

Recruiting should keep on rolling with Coach O. That's really the only thing I'm sure about with him. Some worries here.

Then it comes down to the new OC. If he hit a homerun with the hire I think we'll be in better shape than most think. If not, we could be looking at a dumpster fire situation. At least we know our dumpster fire will probably have a good defense.
