Two straight complete games and this one a 3 hit shutout with 10 K, 1 BB facing just 30 batters.

This was a solid performance. There was only one inning I saw where he wavered a little control; other than that, he was consistently dominant and in control of his pitches.

I think for a while, Smoke was holding his best pitcher(Mestepey) until Saturdays game. He could outthink himself.
