Where is Barrister when you need him? He is always great at giving inside knowledge on the kickers and what they are doing wrong.

Honestly, I have not been around the program much this year. Been working with a couple HS kickers on their seasons and coordinating college visits.

I am not overly concerned. I have watched Cade for years and can tell you that even before his recent misses his timing seemed a little off....which throws your mechanics off just a bit. Remember, he is a true freshman....the game moves faster at this level....all parts....the snap is coming back faster, the rush is moving faster.....I suspect this is just a slight hiccup. You are correct though. He has good private coaches that can help work out the kinks.

I remember they had made mention of the fact Cade was 'off' in warmups during Florida game. This is something that must be corrected! After seeing how important kicking is after last year's Auburn game and Bama looming next month, let's hope the issue is corrected soon!

I received some inside knowledge too. They said anyone who says "I have inside knowledge" does not. Carry on

A lot of young kickers go through stretches like this.

Like that Oregon St. kicker several years back who missed like 3 FGs and 2!! extra points in Tiger Stadium in 2004. And the rest of the first half of his season was almost as horrid.

Dude went on to win the Groza 2 out of the next 3 years.

The good ones always dig their way out of a slump, one way or another.

It’s part mechanics and it’s part mental. Every kicker goes through it at one point or another. For me, I would get through it by setting up video for a side and behind view during the snap/hold/kick. It made me really focus down on my mechanics.

He’s got guys that know him. I’m sure they will work it out. What he doesn’t need to do is put more pressure on himself or start doubting his process. That’s what gets guys in real funks.

LYou can tell he has something mental going on. His last two kicks haven’t even been close, and his rhythm seemed way off.“

My Dad is a kicking coach and I was watching his rhythm and it’s like he forgot what he’s been doing all his life! Weird. He needs to kick a million field goals before Auburn and get the kinks out!

He kicked me in the face in warm ups @ Texas, I’ll gladly offer my face again to get him out of his slump

I watched him miss 4 in a row in warmups. 3 cold hard shanks. He got the yips. I figured if he ever woke up it wouldn't be a good thing. Was a very improbable start. Go back to sleep young man.

That long FG against Florida wasn’t even close. He’s got the talent, just needs to calm himself down. Take some deep breaths

kicking is like putting. make a few left handed (footed), then switch back. by the time you make a few from the other side you forget about whatever hitch is causing your misses and you revert back to your normal stroke.
