Apparently the field goal struggles at the florida game are still lingering
I received some inside knowledge that he's been missing field goals in the practice facility and O was not happy
Hopefully he can correct himself before the big games coming up
Wishing the best for him, just keep your head up and give it your all

Kicking is a mentally challenging craft when you have the tools, especially when you're not getting many chances to kick in games aside from PATs. Have Brady get Lutz to talk to him about the mental side of being a kicker.

He went 3 for 3 at texas which looking back won us the game. He'll get it. I hear faith in the youngblood. If not, he will be kicking 60 yarders and missing 35's... kid has a cannon for leg

You have no idea what you are talking about. Mcmahon is one of the best Special teams coaches in the country, super well respected on both the collegiate and professional levels. Think about how consistent the special teams have been over the last 2 years. This guy isn't a linebacker coach, coaching special teams, this guy is a special teams coach.

McMahon was fired by the Saints partly because of inconsistent kicking. He can’t teach fundamentals. When a kicker is struggling, they need to focus on fundamentals.

You do realize that he found those two and got them on campus? How is Atkins not a product of his when they have both been here for two years?
