I'll even make sure to spread it to our vendors, clients, etc. so that they spread the rumor back to him to make it sound real.
You're just one of the kind of guys I'm laughing at. No one put a gun to your head to make you attend games. If you don't want to pay, don't go. Sell your tickets. Watch it on TV or give it up altogether.

No, I don't think I did. Dumbasses like you keep saying that the raise was based on this year. Well we went undefeated last year and won the SEC Championship and lost in the National Championship game. Is that worthy of a raise? Or in your world is a raise only warranted for winning a national championship?
BTW we will probably end up in the cotton bowl, just one more thing you are wrong about.

So, he turned down an additional $1.75 Million dollars a year to stay here? And some of our "fans" are complaining about our school giving him the first raise in 4 years? The university simply responded by adjusting his salary to make it more competitive with other schools so that others can't wave a potential 33% raise in his face every time we turn around. Smart move with the money the program generates. Insurance against the unknown. At least we know what we've got and can continue to be elite for the foreseeable future.

The offer was 27.5 over 5 years right? That's 5.5/yr. (Saban money). LM's making 3.75 a year now. Diff of 1.75. Was the 27.5 offer not base but including incentives? What am I missing?
