Anyone with knowledge of this injury wanna estimate timeline recovery?

Better that it happened to his left than right. I would think arms recover faster than most injuries but I don’t know.
Is 6-8 weeks reasonable?

12 weeks minimum. Severe humerus break.

If there are no setbacks, that seems like a reasonable timeline. Kinda depends on how bad the break was though..

It’s hard to tell depends on a lot which we don’t know but the humerus is nothing that will be quick. It would have been better if it were his radius. From what I’m hearing from those in ortho 6-8 weeks is not accurate it’s more than like longer

They think he’s out for the year

I've broken both arms without surgery and wore the casts for 6 weeks.

With a bone plate, ultrasound and hyperbaric oxygen therapies probably throwing in 8 weeks and playing in 12 weeks.
Book it.

Book it.

I dislocated and broke mine and also tore my labrum. Just had surgery this past October. I'm still recovering.
I can imagine he will get around the clock treatment though.
With that being said this injury is a bit&%.. he will be back before end of season but will not be an asset.
I dont see him being a starter again for lsu .

He will only play if Max is sucking it up by then or injured.
His career is over more than likely.

No football for him this year....

12 weeks sounds more accurate still a lot to uncover it must be a hairline if its 12 weeks

He'd be stupid to come back in 2021 because he was only going to be the backup, in any event. It's far better for him to spend the football season rehabilitating his arm. That way he'll be eligible for a medical redshirt. Then he should transfer in the spring to a new school with two years of eligibility.

Can he transfer?
I don’t want him going to another SEC school and helping them beat our asses.
