It was good but I'm sure she'd agree she's done better routines that didn't earn 10s.

Might get heat for this but that wasn't a 10 for me and it wasn't her best. Seemed like a makeup after they royally screwed her badly with her bars score earlier.
It all evened out. Florida, OU and UCLA will get some wild 10s in the coming weeks as well that are wacky.
Kiya's incredible. Many more 10's in her future.

The way this sport is scored seems more whack than any sport. Almost political.

I don’t think it was a 10 either, but it was more than good enough to secure the win. I think she needed 9.85 (or in the 9.8 range) for us to beat Arkansas. So it’s not like the 10 gave us the win. That being said, it would be nice if judging improved overall. Not a meet goes by, for LSU or anyone else, where there aren’t some ridiculously high or low scores.

They should just do 3 runs with the tumbling and flipping. The fluff dancing in between is awful and not very graceful. (not just her, I mean all gymnasts)

We watched the whole competition last night. She’s a tough competitor! She is a freshman I think. fell off the balance beam one rotation earlier, then came back and crushed the floor routine! It was amazing!

Kiya is a sophomore. She was SEC Freshman of the year in 2020. And yes, she is great, and gives us our best chance to win a championship.

She's a beast. I have to admit I love watching LSU football, but I also enjoy watching LSU gymnastics! If you want to talk about athletes, girls who are gymnasts are real athletes!
