The only thing I noticed was that he needs to tuck his shorts back in. Never mess with a streak.

I really feel for him. I remember one of his fouls was utter bs. He literally just stood there like a statue for a couple of seconds with his hands up and the guy pushed into him and shot and they called it on emmitt.
He just stood there with his hands up and the most fed up look on his face like "I'm literally doing fricking nothing but standing here, how do I block at all without getting called?"
He's just unluckier than most and that can be insanely frustrating because people don't recognize bad luck, they assume it's on you.

Simple reason why his PT is down is bc Naz and KBW are significantly better players than EW and Days.
They are out there to spell those 2 guys. They will play more if the game warrants (foul trouble, hot hand) but for the most the team is better with Naz and KBW in the game.

I noticed in the box score that our bench combined for zero points last night. I wondered if that had ever happened before.
I was aware that Emmitt Williams was not contributing as much recently but didn't realize it had gone down that much. Hopefully he gets it going down the stretch as his intensity has shown to spark the team at times this season.

He played, he was just in foul trouble from the get go. We also had a nice advantage inside, so Naz and Bigby were the clear options to dominate the paint.

I think whatever is taking place with Emmitt is testing his perseverance and his character.
We should hope Emmitt gets through this. He will be be needed as this season progresses and especially over the next few years.

I mean, CWW loved it when Javonte was talking to Uga players, but I don’t recall him being taken out. Enmit has that dog mentality that we have needed in years past and didn’t back down.
Not sure how much weight I put into him playing sparingly was because he was talking though. Having said that, I don’t see them in practice and don’t know how “lit” or escalated it gets and who is tougher to calm down and control.

I also noticed a second conversation wade had with him late in the game while we were shooting free throws. Emmitt, who wasn’t lined up on the free throw lane, was in the front court and started creeping up toward the three point line near our bench and wade was not happy about where he was standing. He yelled at him to move back, then shook his head to the official standing next to him in a kind of “man, these kids are hardheaded sometimes” manner.
I do notice that Williams cheers for the team and dances a lot on the sideline. Maybe he’s not being focused and serious enough for more playing time.
I do feel his biggest problem is he’s a tweener. He’s playing a post position and his 6’6 frame just isn’t tall enough sometimes despite his athleticism.
