It was a routine, uninspired win over an abysmally bad opponent. Nothing impressive about the Tigers' performance.
The fact the game was tied at the half is a cause for concern, IMHO.
The lack of a reliable kicking game is really concerning. Fortunately I don't believe the outcome of either of the final two regular season games will hinge on a placekick.

That statement is true for nearly every SEC team this year
Which tells you that the SEC is terrible and the wins are just that....against bad teams.

The fact that Moo State damn near beat Bama should let you know how much the game between Bama and LSU takes out of both teams. Some in the past have said we should take the bye after Bama and they may be on to something. IMO we should schedule our non conference patsy after Bama, it just so happens Arkansas IS that patsy this year!

It was very close to being a 47-10 game
You had Dillon drop a TD & Etling overthrew Moreau on what would have been a TD. Ideally both of those positions are upgraded very soon in the future.
Again, process> results

Should have score 50+ yesterday...
Left two easy touchdowns on the field...overthrown wide open Chark, bad pass to Moreau w/ easy walk in TD.

Anyone who complains about this win should be issued an Idiot card. ND gets humiliated, UGA is dominated and UA struggles to the last minute. And some bozo worries about a 23 pt win. Smh.

Nah. Arkansas is terrible. 4-6 record with two 1 pt wins over Coastal Carolina and Ole Miss. They could easily be 2-8 right now.

The majority of LSU's wins in the SEC this year have come against teams who have or probably will fire their head coach. That's not too exciting.
Maybe we should change conferences?

Seems the Bama game took some wind out of their sails too

When you're a Tiger fan living in Arkansas, we take a win no matter how satisfying or not it is. The Miracle on Markham always rears its ugly head here in Arkansas the week of "The Boot" game.
Ha, I lived in Arkansas over 10 years ago and there was a stretch where the only two games they beat LSU were labeled as miracles. Always made me laugh.

Chill out snowflake's. Lsu has never been good early in a game this early. As long as we win u people should be happy! If we win out we will finish 9&3! I think that is pretty good with a first year coach!

"Some of you people will never be satisfied"
They seriously won't. I've never seen people bitch like I do here.
*Etling throws a touchdown pass*
Tiger rant, "well he could've thrown it a little farther this way"
"He should've thrown on a play earlier"
*LSU wins SEC game by over 20 points*
Tiger Rant, "I'm just not impressed, I wanna win by 45432643"
"The other team sucks, we're not that good"
Some of these people will truly never enjoy anything.

I was. Playing at 11am following Bama game and winning by 23 is pretty impressive. Arkansas always gets up for us and they must have felt good at half time. We have a shot at 9-3 and even 10-3 so IDK how any LSU fan can’t be happy

Having a hard time feeling "satisfied" with the win.
Then go cheer for someone else. It’s a 3 TD+ win over a rival who we’ve lost to twice in the last 4 years.

Ask Bama how much the hangover hurts....
