NCAA wants to be present, they will be present. End of discussion

LSU is not going to set up some secret meeting
And you have the unmitigated audacity to rag others about "the laws you do not know how to interpret."

LSU is not going to set up some secret meeting after the NCAA steps in and after Wade initially declined a meeting in which the NCAA would not be present. And especially not after Wade has been in the news twice in the last caldendar year regarding possible recruiting violations. Furthermore trying to apply hypotheticals to the laws you do not know how to interpret is a disaster bomb
Lol, you gave a hypothetical and then said don’t apply hypotheticals. Lol
Who said anything about a secret meeting? The scenario I posted follows the bylaws.
I guess the NCAA doesn’t have to follow their own rules according to Lester. Why do they have rules on all of this if they don’t follow them? Would be pretty stupid on their part.
But Lester the genius says they can do whatever they want. It’s in the rule book. Lester’s opinions Section 1- The NCAA can do whatever they want including violating their own bylaws.

You claim the NCAA trumps the 1st Amendment, then you claim you are listening?

Yup you have nothing as I thought. At least the other guy tried

Dude your rule simply states they need to schedule an appointment. what are you trying to stand on here
This wasn’t even a formal investigation. It likely doesn’t even pertain to this and if it does I’m sure the proper protocol was followed

Okay. That is an interesting take.
Cite the statute you think trumps the 1st Amendment and prohibits any conversation by a University with an employee upon notification the NCAA is asking to converse with him/her as well.

he will be offered in near future a better job with no bull shite AD and he will take it

I mean I'm thrilled he's still our coach, but the fact that they suspend him for the NCAA tournament and reinstate him now? Pure incompetence. What did he do that was so egregious you can suspend him for the tourney, and yet keep him on as coach?
Sickening.
Nope not pissed at all.

lester earl, why don't you get lost in some traffic

My rule? It’s not my rule, it’s the NCAA’s. Again, reading comprehension studies would help you greatly.
Over the course of a few posts you go from “If The NCAA wants to be present, they will be present. End of discussion.” To now you say “this wasn’t even a formal investigation.”
Lmao! It was so serious the NCAA demanded to there, to, hey, it wasn’t that big of a deal.
And then “ I’m sure protocol was followed”. And you ignore the actual NCAA protocol itself.
You are all over the place.
I’ve been very clear on my stance. LSU has every right to meet with personnel without the NCAA present and the NCAA has every right to meet with LSU personnel. You have argued LSU can’t do that. I’ve provided the actual NCAA bylaw. You have just stated your own opinion, gotten pissed, and told me to frick off.

US law has nothing to do with an acting member of the NCAA trying to avoid a meeting regarding possible NCAA infractions.

Huh
You do know what a formal investigation is, right? Do you think that is what this was?

Wait, you think this is clear?
shite dude your first post to me in this thread was telling me I was incorrect when I said if the NCAA requests to be there, LSU must comply. You have yet to disprove that, and in fact just said the “NCAA has every right to meet with LSU”.
Lol and you think you are being clear? No bro, you have changed your tune after 2 pages.

I’ve provided the actual NCAA bylaw
That proved what we already knew. And you are trying to give people shite about reading comprehension? You’ve been terrible at this for weeks. Misinformation after misinformation

after you cite the rule that says LSU does not have to comply with the NCAA
Posted on 4/15/19 at 7:46 pm to Lester Earl
I really have a hard time believing your serious.
Posted on 4/15/19 at 7:56 pm to Lester Earl
One last time genius-
The rule states the NCAA has the right to interview personnel for possible violations. I have said this for weeks.
The rules do not say LSU is not allowed to meet with their personnel on their own. The school has every right to meet with their personnel outside of this meeting the NCAA requests. And they can still meet the obligations set forth in the rules and still conduct the meeting with the NCAA. Two meetings, comprende?
Your stance is LSU is not allowed to do this. It’s absurd. You have no facts to back this up.

quote:PoorLester is confused. I never said anything remotely approaching that. Quite the opposite. NCAA compliance does not include general internal conversational prohibition of University Administrators with employees. Period.

You claim otherwise. Back up the claim.
