I was excited for the season. Not national title excited but I figured 10-2 or 9-3 was doable and was ready to see our new coordinators thinking we might have a decent young team similar to 2018.

After last night, my excitement is absolutely gone. I cannot get those images of our lines being man handled and our secondary being embarrassed out of my head. I am no longer looking forward to Saturdays because I know it means LSU will disappoint once again. Is this what it’s like being a fan lower tier program like Arkansas, ole Miss & state?

I look at the schedule and I look at how our future opponents looked yesterday and can’t help but see us losing to most of them. Not to be dark and gloom but buckle up guys it’s going to be a LONG season.

More important things to do now on Saturdays.

I was cautiously optimistic but I’m out

Sucked all the enjoyment of this season out. I know I am going to see the same crappy product on the field if I watch the full game.

My weekends will be more enjoyable not watching the games and just watching the highlights.

I thought 9-3 was the floor on talent and mediocre coaching alone. I'm thinking we might honestly go 5-7 at this point

This coupled with the controversial covid protocol that seemingly no other major program is implementing, I really have a hard time seeing Tiger stadium alive this season. Even when big names like Florida Auburn and A&M come to town.

Our home field advantage is in jeopardy. If I were LSU, I would really consider reversing course on the covid protocol. People are already dealing with a lot due to the storm plus the team sucking is going to effect attendance.

After this week I am done watching. Dumped my tix when the woke Corvid policies were announced. Was hoping against hope that Eddie would right things, but his inept approach and the idiocy that are the LSU "decision-makers" has extinguished any thought of following further. They pull their woke heads out 'o their arse and I will reconsider, but THAT will never happen.

As long as I can watch Nick's team. I know what a great team looks like.

I was going to fly home for the Auburn game but not sure if it's worth the cost of the flight now.

Excitement level changes because I now have data to support expectations. So analytically that’s easier to manage. Just like everything else in life.

Having said that, I’ll watch every game and look forward to it. It’s still LSU football and we only have so many of them a year. It’s a game.

I’m willing to see if they will at least do some of the things I was saying in the thread I started about the wideouts. If they don’t , at least , run the hurry up with rpos and run the short passes consistently then they don’t deserve to be cared about.

The fricking nerve of that guy peetz to go into that game and run the “joe Brady offense”, and not have a single rpo in the game plan or maybe not even installed pissed me off to no end

I’ll say it again , the motherfricking rpo is the foundation of that offense . The joe Brady offense also incorporates motion to tell the qb what to do. Instead we ran check with me twice in one play to know what to do and what they were in

Maxis smart enough to figure out the defense if you give him keys to read

So you base your observations & conclusions after one game with more distractions & diversions than any other CFB team?

Yeah that’s a little crazy. We need to see what UCLA is to know what we are.

Btw were still tied for 1st in the west lmao

Same. We were on the fence on which 1 home game we’d make it to this season. Now that’s probably not happening. I’m not taking time off and spending a lot of my money to go support a product like this.

We have an arrogant big headed coach who time proves that he’s in over his head. Let’s flash back to what nick saban said before the 2020 LSU game. That is a direct result of O’s arrogance and inability to read the room. He talks and acts like he’s a random assistant who is not known nationally and not the face of the program.

Our players will start giving up like last year. And some will quit.
Yes, season is already over for me. Sucks when you look forward to football for 9 months and it's ruined after one week
