Mirage? No. Fluke is the word I would use.

My Aggie neighbor told me prior to Jimbo his method was to record the games. If they won he watched them, if they lost he deleted them.

I lived through the Curly Hallman years. You’ll be in a little denial the first couple of weeks unless we lose to CMU then that the process will be accelerated. By November indifference will set in and your weekends will be spent duck hunting and/or doing stuff with your family and you may or may not watch a game or two but it will definitely not be the focus of your weekend or go to the games. Then he’ll get fired at the end of the year anf your interest will pick up with the coaching search. So don’t get bummed out because in a few weeks you won’t even care and you’ll have fun with family or hunting and it’ll still be a good rest of the year

I say that now but football is in my DNA so I'll probably end up watching in spite of myself.

just like losing to Wisconsin did…zapped any optimism of the season because the issues won’t get any better with time. it’s a zen feeling though, I’ll watch without worry and try and enjoy the upsets as they happen

I have yet to feel my usual excitement since COVID. Shut down shite to deal with, then BLM bullshite, then fricked up season with basically no fan interaction and traditions, then stupidity with politics over vaccines, now ida. I can really can’t care much less any more. Feels just like last year where I will put them on tv and watch but never felt pissed off or excited. Just oh well we suck or we pulled one out our arse. Last night was the same thing. Just kept drinking and BSing and just no longer had the feeling when shite went any certain way. Sucks as this used to be my number one hobby but society makes you change. I will save more money I guess

Yea I still love LSU and we should out talent our way 5-7 wins, but coaching was piss poor. OC has got to be more creative in the run game, occasionally use or wildcat, misdirection, jet sweeps, receivers in to run speed option.

Cant lie. I way excited to watch baseball over any other sport now with Paul gone and the feel of the new energy. Look forward to enjoying those sec weekend series with some brews.

Out for now. Will probably DVR the game and wait for the outcome before investing any time
