The Hurricanes are going to whip out the turnover chain. Wrap it around Burrows neck and skull drag him all over Cowboy stadium?
Nah that's just your pussy bleeding.

No way Miami scores much on our D. I just hope our offense can muster enough points to win.

Your pussy is dripping, stick a rag in that thing

I feel like LSU is way underrated and Miami way overrated. This will be like a home game for us. LSU wins 20-10 or 24-13

LSU will beat Miami. I think LSU comes out making a statement

Gotta love Bama fans pretending to be LSU fans.

If the ‘Canes jump on us early and we fall & stay behind by 2 possessions by the middle of the 3rd Q, the eerie feeling will commence. I’m not sure we have the experience to overcome being one dimensional against their D playing from behind late.

FPI has us favored n 5. It’s been accurate but Burrow and Cregg are two factors they didn’t figure in.

I hope LSU makes a huge statement. I don’t care if we score a ton but I want to see Aranda and the D pitch a shutout or keep em our the end zone.. LSU up at halftime 13-3. Miami gets within a TD midway through the 3rd. 13-6. Then a big punt return by Giles ignites the team and makes it 20-6. Late Fg ices it. 23-6 LSU

Vegas doesn't lose big. I understand that they can hedge elsewhere, but they're rarely too far off on the negative side. I'm not afraid of all of the money coming in on Miami or the under on LSU's win totals at all. In fact, it will be glorious to see Vegas clean house, which I rarely say. Don't forget that the money still has time to move.

I have the distinct feeling, eerie if you'd like, that just like 2011 vs. Oregon this could be a season defining win, or loss.
Dude the Oregon game was not even close to the defining game of the 2011 season.
LSU-Oregon was supposed to be very competitive, lots of people wondered if LSU could keep up with their pace.
We pounded them into the dirt, we had them calling TO to regroup on defense (we started going no-huddle toss-dive and running over them). We had defensive linemen running down their speedy backs from behind.
That was a Top 5 team we dominated, and it opened a lot of eyes about just how good LSU was going to be.
LSU-Miami is supposed to be a quality win for the 'Canes. They are supposed to disrupt our offense and create havoc, and move enough on our defense to pull away in the 2nd half. That's why they are Top 10, and we're marginal Top 25.
If we hang the entire game, it shows that LSU is underrated and Miami maybe overrated.
If we wear them down and put them away, then it shows, basically, that rumors of LSU's demise are premature, and that we're likely a Top 10 quality team that should make some noise this season.
Maybe the best analogy was the South Carolina game a few years back. They had Clowney and Lattimore, and beating LSU was going to prove they were legitimate and that we were slipping. Instead, we won, and the national guys said "Oops, LSU isn't done after all".
Miami is going to be talked about during the pregame and early part of the game the same way; and if we win, it will be another "Oops, LSU is still LSU" again.

No I have this feeling Burrow is going to be so scary to defenses that he whispers "seven days" and steps out of the tv to slap the sh*t out of people like you.

If it's one thing I've learned over the years is that when these experts call it an easy pick, they're almost always dead freakn wrong.
This is one that they are pumping up the wrong way so Vegas gets a pay day.
The players hear this stuff and most people are counting them out. Typically when that happens, especially with a tough CFB tradition like LSU, the underdog surprises. This team is full of leadership and competitive players. I'm almost certain that if anyone whips anyone else, it will be LSU.
I think the general public really believes that LSU is a bad team this year. That includes Miami. Now if Richt can control that and convince his players not to pay attention to those people saying these things, then it will be a good game.
If the players are buying into all this negetive hype, don't prepare like they should, don't take it as serious bc of this talk, then Miami will be in for a huge surprise and LSU might walk all over them. All depends on their mind set prior to this game. Same goes for LSU but ususally the team that is predicted to get their butts kicked, make damn sure that doesn't happen. We'll see soon enough.

What?? It absolutely was. The entire offseason was dedicated to conditioning for that game. It was the tone setter for the season. Not even close? What are you smoking
