Anyone else grow a lot of respect for Trevor Lawrence these last few days?

Taking charge of speaking for the players and taking these pussified officials head on.

Kid wants to play. Wants a chance to create a better ending for himself in 2020 then how he ended 2019.

Yes. He wants to play. He's not afraid of the Rona. He's not afraid of the coronabros.

Yeah, I respect that he wants us to wax his arse in the championship game again this year.

He was going to go number 1 overall after this season and get 30+ million.

All this support for Trevor Lawrence because people want to see football. And yet no one will support the player’s demand to form a players association.

people don't have to support every issue a player does. Northwestern already tried to form a player's union several years ago. The National Labor Relations Board dismissed their petition unanimously.

The players association doesn’t have to mean getting paid. It would mean representation and a unified voice with the NCAA and conferences. Because it’s a slippery slope to getting paid people won’t support it and will pretend he didn’t suggest it, even though it’s on the list of demands of the WeWantToPlay movement

I’ve respected him since the National chamionship where he didn’t whine or complain, make excuses or hang his head. And that was a guy that had not lost a game as a started since he was maybe an underclass man in high school. He’s a good kid with a grounded personality that went out on the field as a freshman and spanked Alabama.

This sudden infatuation with lawerence is weird. He’s a football player and tweeted he wants to play football.

If he wanted to take charge, he and all these players should have started this movement months ago so we would have never gotten to where we are today.

Give him credit. His future is set. A season could only hurt him. But yet, he's fighting for it. Love it.

Never lost respect for him. He is a great player that faced a buzzsaw last year. Dude is tough as nails.

Never had any disrespect for him. Why would I other than he was an opponent’s QB?

Always respected him. Dude absolutely dominated one of the best Bama teams ever in his freshman year. So he blew a kiss to LSU fans...so what...LSU was better and got the best of him. He is still a great player.

Hate to burst your bubble, but he's involved with racial equality and BLM. There's nothing wrong with that in my book, in fact it does make me like him more. But I know there's just a handful of y'all that can't stand the movement.

I think I stick with experienced Drs for information during a pandemic rather than being led by emotional pleas of an athlete.
