I was there, and also in Alaska when Arkansas beat a
us at the Great Alaskan Shootout. Then we went on a monster run until the end of the conference play, when we lost our second game of the season to Kentucky.

Was there to see Dale Brown jumping across the court after the game as we were headed to Philly. I got to go to Philly too.

Does anyone remember the "no-call" at the very end of the WSU - Kansas game?

And at the next game, LSU v WSU with Cliff Levingston and Antoine Carr

A great Tiger victory but the injury to Rudy Macklin which occurred late in the game came back to haunt LSU in the Final Four.

Was there. Had tickets on one end of the court just above the back board. Saturday we cruised the quarters and somehow ended up on the second floor of the royal sonesta hotel and all of the cheerleaders and some of the basketball players were there. Remember the tall dude from overseas, I think it was Gert Hammick, dude was tall. Called my mom from the room collect. When LSU played a guy from Kansas gave me his tickets after Friday nights game and I was about 5 rows behind Billy Packer and I think it was the old coach from Marquette, McGuire maybe. Awesome seats except it was full of old people, I was 24, and stood the whole game.

Yes I was there. I was a student at LSU at the time. The next week we went to Philly to watch the Final Four. I am still convinced we would have won the National Championship had Rudy Macklin not injured his finger. As Jim Mora used to say, woulda, coulda shoulda.

We would have beaten Indiana and made the final game had Dale not gone into 4 corners AFTER Isaiah Thomas picked up his 3rd foul in the first half.

I was there. It was fantastic. The crowds were great and it may have been the best LSU team ever. Durand'Rudy' Macklin was a beast!!
