Yes, I'd like to see Ackenhausen get some work too, though.

He didn’t start… but he did pitch more innings than all the other 3 that did pitch and looked very impressive.

I’m curious to see how CJJ handles tonight into the weekend.

I think you are the one who forgot who started last midweek game.

Correction on my end. I thought you were saying little did start the midweek game to me…. Didn’t read who you replied to.

My fault.

Absolutely! If he can get back to 100% then Hurd will be in the mix. If Shores cannot develop adequately then I would expect Little to be in the mix. Cooper is simply not a starter!

Little never started. He just came in the game really early, because Hurd struggled.

If everyone is right about moving Hurd to the weekend after the texas game, wouldnt it be next weekend that the changes would take place? So the Samford series would be our no doubt weekend starters in place?

If the plan is to get Hurd in a weekend starting spot then this has to be the plan. Bump him up 1 day at a time each week.

Of course he has to show improvement over his last start for them to put that plan in play.

Impressed with Little. He went up there like he was ready to fight somebody! I think he battles hard in the bump.

Yep.

You never end up with what you started with... in baseball.

Someome will rise and take advantage of their opportunities.

Until Floyd shows that he can throw a 2nd pitch he will never be more than a spot middle reliever in the SEC. We have seen the same from him for 2 years. You cannot just go out there and continually throw nothing but straight fastballs in the SEC.
