Our future Heisman-winning QB Walker Howard seems pretty excited.
What about future Outland Trophy winning OT Will Campbell?

Is he excited as well?

Those players who love hard work- will love BK.

Those who just want to get by- will be looking elsewhere.

I would hope many players feel at least a bit uneasy about the transition heading into spring... let the competition begin.

Joe Burrow says otherwise but Will Campbell is definitely a cant-miss player for the future.

That picture of him addressing the team and everyone wondering where is the team?….is perfect!
Start with the bare bones and those that want to move forward with this coach.
A lot of the shite has already been waded through…..just buy in and go!

The last person to impose a real work ethic on this team was Burrow. He basically embarrassed the rest of the team into trying to match his relentless effort and perfectionism.

When Burrow left, the discipline left (and the head coach was busy chasing pussy).

It is high time for another dose of uncompromising discipline. Any players who are less than thrilled with this change can get the frick out of here.

I agree. I can’t imagine a Nick Saban or Jimmy johnson’s Teams struggling with a weak OL.

Look...I’m fat and 54 years old. I don’t eat well so I’m not Lou Ferrigno here giving advice. It just seems to me that some of these athletes got fat and happy after 2019 and did not want to keep working hard mentally and physically. I’m not blaming Moffit. I blame Ed O for that shite.

I spoke to Mashburn's family doctor and he said that the next day Mashburn was in his office for a hard-on that would not go away.

I think it might be related.

I'm not so much worried about how they're reacting right now. I'm more interested in how they respond in the spring and fall.

Players will obviously have understandable mixed feelings before they get to know how he operates. He has to have a chance to engage them before we worry too much about what they think.

exactly, if they want to go, sit them down and lay out how they could benefit from staying, but if that's not what they truly want, they should go.They would be a detriment if they stay and aren't happy. We're not likely to win the national championship next year, the championship mindset has to be there, and you could tell the last 2 seasons that alot of people in the program had lost it.

They were not loyal to Orgeron at all. Fake injuries, opt outs, etc. Get rid of anyone who does not want to be here.

I posted this in LF is a chump thread.

O let/encouraged them to put their individual needs before the team. It was the downfall of his tenure.

Joe Burrow came in changed the culture for the brief time he was here. As soon as he was gone, the culture shifted when the BLM sparked up and there wasn't leaders like JB, CEH and Devin White around anymore.

I will expand further to say, that I did see a shift this season after O was announced to be fired. Players want to be coached. We had some good leadership this year thanks to the vet returning players.

I think Coach Kelly is exactly what is needed and has been needed for almost 15 years. This will work. Clear the room of anyone that doesn't want to be there. I can assure that there are plenty that want to be coached and held accountable.

Word on the street is that Kelly was a tremendous player's coach at ND. I have no doubt that our new coach will win over the troops immediately.
