I used to love Jordy but he’s become so much about the drama and sensational takes that it’s hard to listen to most of the time, except for his interviews.
People hate on the 104.5 ESPN guys because they believe they are scared to say what they really think so they don’t make LSU mad. That may be true but we also know Moscona has never been shy to speak his mind when he disagrees with anything LSU.
I would also argue that guys like Jordy have to say things like this to help continue to get an audience and may actually be less genuine than the guys in the big radio network as they have their built in audience that isn’t going anywhere.

quote:Comprehension skills suck there dude. Where did I mention Nuss or Daniels in that post? You took the whole thing and spun it to your liking. Tell me Kelly isnt the portal king.Kids from LA leaving going other places while he recruits out of the portal. I will break it down for you though. What I said is there is elite talent all over the state to fill most of our classes up , then use the portal to fill a need here and there.
So y’all think LA athletes are going to choose another school because of a perceived slight in a guy that committed to LSU out of high school?
If Nuss felt like he was being slighted do you think he would still be at LSU? He had his option to leave last year knowing he probably wasn’t going to be the starter this year. Kelly has never once said that Jayden wasn’t the starter in 2023.

It’s refreshing to see someone speak the truth. The mental gymnastics that the BR media goes through to try and make it seem like JD is a good passer is ridiculous. The reality is that JD makes everyone around him worse
He's got a great highlight reel, but those highlights are interspersed with such boneheaded bad plays (outright TD thrown like a back shoulder, no air where a WR can fight for it, always with the flares making the TE/RB stop forward momentum) the net result over 4 qtrs. is a lot of wasted possessions.

The LSU situation is similar to the BAMA situation...Both Daniels and Milroe ain't going to lead their respective teams to the SEC championship game....for LSU Nuss is a much need shot in the arm for the receivers to make big time plays...45 starts for Daniels he's not mastered the QB position cuz as Deion Sanders would say he ain't the smartest guy on the field.....same with Milroe at BAMA and you can bet your arse Saban is going to give a true freshman a shot to lead the BAMA offense real soon....that true freshman is Eli Holstein... Does Kelly have the huevos to do pull the trigger on Nuss ?...if he wants to be here for 8-10 yrs he better!

You should’ve stopped listening right there because it was obvious he must’ve been drinking if he thought both quarterbacks had this same type of night.

The defense is not getting physically beat. When they get beat they are out of position. DEs lose contain. DT rush past RBs. LBs bite on counters. The defense is lost. It’s a mental issue with the defense right now.

One doesn't have to agree with everything someone says in order to agree with some of what someone says.
I dont care for Moscona at all, but he'll make a solid point every football season or so.

No way Kelly will change no matter how many losses accumulate. The quickest way to make the team better is an upgrade at QB. Let's give Nuss a go.

You can do both. There isn’t a signing cap anymore.
Look at the team that whipped LSU’s arse week one. They are in an even more talent rich state that can do all the things you say but they built the team they have now out of the portal.
Not to mention you just won a national championship in baseball in large part because of portal guys. This is modern college sports. You either adapt or die.

You can literally say the same things about the guy that people want to replace Daniels with.

Is Jordy a coach? Has he ever been a coach? He's the clickbait king of LSU sports.

There is a humungous difference.
One is in his fifth year as a starter.
The other hasn't played two games.
Has Daniels improved? Probably so.
One has arm talent, according Coaches and former NFL players.
The other has great running ability, according everyone who has watched him.
I've not heard one neutral person hype Daniels arm talent.

An interception is one of the 2 bad things that can happen when you throw the ball and you seem to advocate for the embrace of it.
Until there is a competent OL whose right side does not collapse by the 2.5 count leaving your QB vulnerable as he is finishing his progressions Nussmeier is more of a liability at this point.

It is frustrating that CBK cites doing the small things well (all coaches do) but it's the small things JD messes up constantly. The easy things are hard.
However, the Nuss INTs are less "annoying" but much more significant.

LSU fans are greatly exaggerating the playmaking ability of the receivers at this point. They have not shown it on the field yet this season.

But but but Daniels threw 5 touchdowns against Grambling!!

I love Jordy. I love how he gets so emotional and goes off on rants. When he gets going about les miles or Orgeron it’s the most entertaining take out there. He is so much authentic than when he was at espn.

This is why people always fall in love with the backup QB and can’t understand what the coaches see in the starter.
