Finally someone with some professional medical news on Miles. All the back seat driving chatter was ridiculous from posters that claim they are on the inside .

Did he finally figure out how to get fat while he was unable to work out? he was listed at 210 last season.

Anyone else concerned that a routine tackle tore muscle/possibly tendons? I realize he “put on weight” but just because the scale says one thing doesn’t necessarily mean a guy is built for the game. Brennan’s soft/frail frame has always been a concern and I just don’t know if he will ever be able to withstand the punishment from SEC play long term.

I think it was the way he got tackled

It probably wasn't a natural movement to brennan.

Brennan is now almost 100% and is working out and practicing every day.. he’s waiting on a final MRI to be 100% medically cleared. He will be ready for spring and he will be our 5th year senior starting QB in 2021.

How did you obtain this info?

I have read stories about this type of injury 3 or 5 times in the last few years. It is rare in sports, but apparently more common in automobile accidents.
From the little I have heard, it is a bitch for athletes to recover from. I think one guy was a professional hockey player, who reinjured it when he tried to play again within the season.
Who knows the impact. I think we would have done better on offense with a more experienced QB; however, the defense would have prevented significantly more wins.

Without the injury and the opt outs I think Brennan would have had a great year. LSU has at least 2 legit starting quarterbacks. Hell must be freezing over.

He'll be competing for the starting QB job as a 5th year senior...he ain't got the job just yet.

It was a freak accident and no amount of strength or conditioning could have stopped it. Your post is dumb and full of conjecture, and you should be embarrassed.

Max will be the QB any way. I wish Brennan the best but I don't think he will play anymore !

I was on the staff that coached Myles in high school. We talk often. I communicate with the LSU coaches regularly through recruiting. I am friends with the LSU team doctor that examined Myles.
Any more questions?

Thanks for the update

One of the 104.5 radio shows, can’t remember which, a couple weeks ago talked about how Myles has a history of not staying healthy.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but this is his 1st injury no?

Other than Myles sustaining a huge gash in his forearm his junior year in HS and requiring 20 plus stitches I am not aware of Myles ever being injured. By the way. He finished that game too and threw 4 Td passes. He was taken to the hospital when it was over.

Do you realize how many athletes are injured in non-contact situations? Your post is dumb.

This team will be motivated. Oline was an embarrasment. Maul people in the running game, and protect Brennan/Johnson.
