Guy was a tackling machine. He'll be a good one in the pros.

Me. I thought so two years ago. But I don’t know how bad his neck injury is.

College football awards are basically determined pre season.

It’s ridiculous

If he didn't have the neck injury he'd be a 2nd round guy!

Holy crap I been out of the loop. Wtf is it that serious? I didn’t no

Not a huge fan of Clark’s game at all, but he has all the tools I thought he would have a career like Danielle Hunter.. all the physical attributes and just never put it all together and he would be asked to do something simple in the nfl to utilize his skills better…

But he actually started putting it together last year, though I still was not a huge fan of his game where he is just a reactor and imo he did not attack. Not a fan of him letting the RB or guy with the ball come to him 3-4 yards down the field.

Thing is that doesn’t matter Guy it’s physically gifted as Maybe 5-10 guys in the draft. Tall, big Af, and fast Af. That combo pays

I can see Belichick taking a shot on him. He could be another Donta Hightower type player.

Spinal fusion surgery for herniated disk discovered at combine.

Tough deal for an LB. Someone will likely take a late flier on him if the medicals have any hope.

So, having a top-ten historical season statistically for an LSU linebacker, first team All-SEC and a Butkus finalist means he never put it together on the field???? Danielle Hunter literally did frick-all in an LSU uniform. I don’t think they’re comparable.

Yeah,he’s fantastic if you just looked at the stat sheets and didn’t watch the games.

Out of all the players in the draft this year, I am supporting him the most. He was a true tiger. Faced adversity due to a horrible scheme and Coaching staff and then got better.

He became a truly elite Linebacker this past year. And he would have been a 1st round pick if not for his injury. Really unfortunate but I am rooting for him to bounce back and have a good career. Someone is going to give him a shot, but probably not until the later rounds. Would be nice for him to end up in Cincinnati as well.

You probably think that if you only tuned in for the first few games and didn't pay attention at the end of the year. Something clicked starting with the Florida game.

LSU's last 6 regular season games:
11 TFL, 5.5 SACK, 2 FF, 1 INT. Those aren't empty stats.

Hightowers got a solid 30 pounds on Clark. Pats prefer bigger linebackers at the position

Anybody that watched Damone Clark from the beginning knew the talent was there unfortunately he was there when the coaching carousel was in full swing. Last year under Coach Baker Damone grew into a top tier linebacker and would have been a top three round talent in the NFL draft. I know one thing someone will get a steal by choosing Damone in the later rounds. Damone WILL be back and better than ever because he doesn’t quit and the more he learns the better he gets. GOOD LUCK DAMONE
