Think we're gonna make it a bro weekend.

What are some must-go-to places with 3 nights there?

No shame in my game.

When you're married with kids, its nice to have a guys weekend.

.....especially when you live out of state and you get to see all your old running buddies

You sound insecure.

The Vandy campus, obviously.
Centennial park and the Parthenon are right across the road.
Downtown, Broadway St, the Gulch, union Station, country music hall of fame, music row are cool.

add the bluebird café, the basement and the radio cafe'. pick up a NASHVILLE SCENE and see who's playing. it's tough to do online as I don't know of a central clearing house of who is playing where but the SCENE is on line and so is the newspaper THE TENNESSEEAN. there are a lot of venues downtown and close to downtown also. Tootsies, Roberts, the Stagecoach (honkey tonks) and 3rd and Linsey. sometimes the Wild Horse Saloon has good stuff and the Ryman does too. also, there is a bluegrass venue in the gulch. printers alley is a short walk from downtown and it has 2 or 3 joints also.

if you are looking for music and drinking, pretty much all of the venues are open 7 days a week with low or no cover. uber is your friend; better than DD due to parking hassles downtown and in the gulch.

if you like live music it is the place to be but most venues have their own web site and I have not found a central place to see who's playing where so I use the above periodicals. there are probably 50 venues (or more), many of them small, which is what I like. look for writers night as they will have a lot of extremely talented artists one after the other.

if you're not into country the vanderbuilt school of music has two venues on campus that often have real good jazz or classical for 10 bucks.

Loveless Cafe, Preds game, Prince's Hot Chicken, Mary's BBQ (get the pork shoulder sandwich with spicy sauce), San Antonio Taco Company if the weather is nice, and Exit/In or Bluebird for live music. If you and your buddies are into craft beer, go to Yazoo, Southern Grist, or Bearded Iris. All are excellent breweries. Enjoy.

Couple of buddies and I are going. Couldn't pass up a Nashville trip that includes LSU baseball. Heading to Ole Miss as well. That's a must for SEC baseball fans.

Went to ole miss baseball 2 years ago. Sat behind outfield wall where you can bring your own ice chest. My wife went to ole miss but everyone else with us was all LSU. That year was around the same time Tunsil was talking about the money he got. I stood up and did the Johnny Manziel money sign since all the ole miss fans were yelling shite to us. That really pissed them off. The entire weekend all the ole miss fans were giving us shite. We left in the 8th inning one of the games and they just were yelling the whole time we were leaving. It was very intense.
I’m sure we are going again this year. And I would recommend it to everyone.
