Couple of buddies and I are going. Couldn't pass up a Nashville trip that includes LSU baseball. Heading to Ole Miss as well. That's a must for SEC baseball fans.
Do you have a number that you called? Or did you just call the customer service number for Delta? I also was told there was a $200 service charge for my flight. I got the difference to use toward another flight, but I felt like that wasn't very much.
re: Miss St. Tailgating?

We have 4 or 5 28-30 yr old guys heading there as well. We could only find a hotel in Starkville for Friday night, so we will be looking for somewhere to have dinner and drink Friday night with some Tiger fans. Plan on just winging it Saturday before the game. The 8:15 p.m. kickoff is going to make for a long day. Staying in Jackson Saturday night.
My buddy and I are in the left field parking lot by ourselves right now. Apparently Ole Miss fans don't tailgate 6 hours before their games. Anybody in town come help!

Two friends and I will be there Thursday night. Sitting in the outfield Friday and Saturday. Should be interesting. :geauxtigers:
I'm still going out to Nicholson about 4:30 to park my truck and set my tents up.
Last game they told us we could set up our tents at 5 but we couldn't park our trucks until 7.
I think we will see a lot of rain Thursday night and Friday during the day. Saturday may get some squally weather with a lot of hit or miss showers. It will be like a normal summer day with a downpour for 10 minutes and then clear sunshine. This is just what I've read.
I still think it will be a good crowd. 75,000+, but you they are going to announce the paid attendance as about 90,000.

White trash party? You are obviously confused about where I'm talking about.
Haha!

Welcome all ASU students to Tiger Country. I hope all of you have the time of your lives. If any of you are walking around Nicholson Dr. we are under the first oak tree in front of the baseball stadium parking lot. Feel free to come by.
Wow, when I started this thread I didn't think it would get this bad. The whole "will he make it through the game" thing was something I was saying in jest making reference to the quarterbacks LSU knocked out last year. Some of those quarterbacks were not knocked out due to injury. Henig (Miss. St.) and Glennon (Va. Tech) were lifted due to ineffectiveness. The real thing I was asking was whether App. St. would change the game plan a little to keep Edwards on his feet. I would NEVER wish injury on another player. I was just thinking that Appy's coach may run him less to save him for conference play.

I guess he does look fast against Richmond and Wofford...cool video though. I was almost fooled.
Will Armanti Edwards even make it through the whole game?

LSU knocked out the first four quarterbacks they faced in 2007. Why should 2008 be any different? But all kiding aside, will AE run less in this game? Will the App. St. game plan change a little to keep him on his feet?

I saw that Best Western. $269/night is ridiculous for a glorified motel.
Hotels in or near Auburn
Posted by Geaux3122 on 7/13/08 at 9:02 pm
I'm trying to plan my trip to the Auburn game this year on September 20 and I'm trying to find hotels in the Auburn or Opelika area. The last time I went to Auburn we stayed in Montgomery, but I didn't like having to get up and drive an hour to campus. Does anyone know of any hotels closer to Opelika or Auburn that we can stay at. I've found some Quality Inns and such in Opelika...but just trying to get some feedback.

With the crowds going into the student sections for those games...they wont be looking at faces on the ids. if you look remotely like the id you're using. you will get in.
re: bigger waste of talent: Ryan Perrilloux or Cecil Collins??

I've never seen a running back dominate like Cecil Collins. I am too young to remember Hershel Walker, but Cecil was a freak. Perrilloux could have been great. Cecil was great...for five games.
