Totally different vibe and atmosphere around the program. No more worries about if we are going to be a prepared football team, we may get beat by more talented teams but I don’t see us getting outschemed again. Not even to mention, we got a group of guys who want to represent the P&G and not just themselves. The alignment is happening

I want to say yes but I felt really confident about basketball and baseball too.

For this year, no. For the future, yes.

Yeah it has a good feel. The job done with the portal may go down in history.

I think we do well this year, but we are not going to a New Year's 6 game. Hopefully 9 regular season wins.

I feel we have potential to be in the playoffs in year 3.

Yeah it's spring.

But I have to remind myself, CBK started with only 38 scholarship players. He still does not have a full roster yet and he says he needs depth at TE and OL. And I look at strong safety and IT SUCKS.

I'm ready to drink the cool aid but every time I take a sip it taste like a hipster IPA.

Define "confident".

I'm confident LSU will be better (or at least more competitive) than they were over the last two years. However, I'm not confident they will seriously compete for the SEC West title

Yes but worried about depth at certain positions. If the OL can stay healthy and improve then we’ll have a chance to win a lot of games. The schedule sets up nicely too.

I do feel alot better about the makeup of our team now that i did at the end of last season. The staff has done an amazing job getting holes filled in the roster with quality proven players. With that said, idk if id describe how i feel as confident. I do think we are building into a championship level program again but man the SEC isnt a place to be treading water.

I feel confident for the first time in years relative to the consistency of program direction under this specific coach now being in place.

Confident for this upcoming season as championship contending team? No, but I do expect a more physical team and one that will play hard, smart in creating building blocks for the future.

This is a 7-5 team right now. Do I have confidence CBK can get to this team to a 9 win team with improving and building the current roster? Yes. But right now this team is not better than a 7 win team. Coach O left this program decimated. CBK has a lot of rebuilding to compete for the SECW.

I agree with you but I recall people saying similar things when O took over. So I'll reserve judgement until there is a season under our belt to determine what the reality is.

But I am cautiously optimistic.

Really confident? That’s a stretch. For THIS year…

I like our chances in those games more than you do.

FSU still has a chance to be a dumpster fire.
Auburn is very unsettled and may have the worst coach in the SECW.
Florida will still be dealing with the talent gap Muffins left them.

I see 7 wins as the floor, with 8 wins more likely.

JMHO.

I am confident we won’t lose games because we are unprepared or poorly coached.

Can’t feel overly confident but I’m cautiously optimistic. Coach BK has a big job eradicating the stench Ogre meathead left on the program. We’ll see if he can get it done quickly but might take a year to sanitize the Ogre from these kids.

Does anyone know the deadline to move and/or add a game before FSU? I cant believe Kelly wouldnt get a game in before this one, and FSU does have a game before us.
