It was speculation but what seems to be true is it's not just dehydration otherwise you wouldn't have mixed messages from LSU itself. Whatever it is impacting him is probably much more serious than they reported on so we can only hope it doesn't have an impact on his career because that would absolutely suck for a guy who has a bright future ahead.

They have been really vague about it. Hopefully it’s nothing. If he is out there in a week or 2 we will know.

I don’t think it’s the flu. If so, he would’ve been isolated from the rest of the team much earlier. Now, people often just call it the “flu” when it’s a cold or other virus. I’m hoping it was just an intestinal bug that gave him diarrhea and dehydrated him.
I pray for his sake that it wasn’t a seizure or heart condition.

The guy went to the hospital. That's his own personal health information, LSU is not at liberty to say his condition or what may be going on. LSU can do so, once he and his family decide they can.
If anyone wants to "read between the lines", the only thing to read is this- if/when he's been released and cleared to play, that likely is the first thing he will want to tell everyone. And thus, the first thing LSU will announce.

CBK just said that up to now Will has passed all medical test and has one more medical test to go. He is very optimistic that he will be medically released this afternoon after this final medical test.
