It is absolutely insane to me that LSU basketball doesn't have some kind of premium suites/club seating for the donors. They need to get those old rich fricks away from courtside and put the students in a decent spot.

Give track and field a new complex near Alex Box and build the new PMAC where that currently sits then tear down old PMAC and make that a football tailgating area similar to Champions Square in Nola

Keep the name
You know if it is rebuilt it will have to be the "Pete Maravich/Simone Augustus Assembly Center"! PMSAAC Don't forget to put in a new Dale Brown/Sue Gunter/Nikki Vargas Floor

It's fine if we remove 1000 seats and add some suites

A dump. Lakefront Arena is nice because it gets 15-20 in the seats for UNO games. Only time it sold out was in the Ledell Eackles years, and WWF wrestling.

Pmac is so freakin arse. The Lights on the steps don't even work on the North side of the building.

what does LSU athletics (MBB, WBB, Gym, VB) do while it is being built?
Centroplex. Easy solution to this question.
Every time I see this comment I realize how stupid some people are. You do realize this will result in reducing attendance by almost half. The only solution is renovations between April and October.
Gymnastics and women's basketball are getting sell out crowds of 13,000 and if men's basketball continues to progress will get there too. Do not destroy the home court/ floor advantage to satisfy people who have to be pampered and can't just sit for two hours and just enjoy the fricking event.

Also could move track and build new PMAC there.
I thought this was potentially proposed if they did end up gutting it. That said I heard it would potentially be a massive renovations instead of a new building. There have been a lot of programs over the years that went this route with some good results.

Assuming they did a tear down and rebuild in the same spot, football gamedays would be a nightmare during construction
