Planned or not, this video shouldn't be out there. I guarantee you if that was Saban's locker room, then heads would roll. It's just not a good look for a HC to have leakers in his program.

The only point on if Lane didn’t want this out then you can’t have people leaking things. Now maybe Lane wanted it out and so it’s going viral now. It’s a great look to fire up fans and get recruits fired up.

There is a major difference: if someone on staff was filming without being told to do it then that’s a big problem. You can’t have people leaking things.
If this was Lane telling him when I say this out the phone down and film, then we release it through back channels then it’s calculated to win over more recruits and it’s a kid following orders.

When have you see videos of Saban leaked to the media? He controlled the program. His assistants weren't even allowed to speak to the media.

I don't really want locker room talks released via leaks or planned orchestrated "leaks" by Kiffin or anybody.

That's not what it's like not. Kids expect that there is video everywhere and they love it. They are probably pumped that this speech got out.
Basic rule: All the things the over 40 crowd loves, the college kids and recruits hate. They live in a very different world from the one the millennials and older grew up in. Their lives exist inside of social media.
