Glad you had a great time and were treated well.
Yea the atmosphere with fans is up & down at times. Usually up for the SEC/bigger games. I don't think too many fans of ours doubted the outcome of this game and when that is the case it is usually a bit more tame. You should come back for a Bama/Auburn/Arky game sometime.

LSU fans are spoiled. We don't get pumped up unless its a top 10 team or a team we hate.

No, it's just terrible. the funny thing is that it sounds pretty good once you're out by the Parade Grounds. They'll be upgrading it with the renovations/expansion of the South Endzone.

First of all, the atmosphere up in the decks is quite different fthan down in the bowl - especially the student section - but also keep in mind against that there just isn't any hatred for the Huskies. We're actually rather fond of you boys. But when Auburn, Florida or Alabama come to town, it's quite different - especially if the game is expected to be close.

We save that atmosphere for real games.
that and the atmosphere in the upper deck is not the same as the lower bowl. sounds are distorted. I refuse to sit in the upper deck, but that's just me. some people love sitting up there. not this guy.

everything that you write is spot on, as far as I am concerned....with most tickets topping $100 apiece, I am afraid the days of racuous tiger stadium are a thing of the past....

Me either! I hate the upper decks. You can't hear a thing up there and it's too steep. It's like not being at the game at all.

Wanted to stop by since it's *uck week. Our most hated rival ever.
Checked your schedule to see who you're playing and while it's not your most hated rival, I wanted to say... I'm not really fan of Florida and I hope you lay a whooping on them!!!! Geaux Tigers!
with some rejuvinated D (after laying into Stanford) we might be able to slow the *ucks down a little bit, but we are down to 7 healthy OL... it is going to be a long night on the offensive side.

You don't know me or my history. I'm an LSU fan first, just have lived here in Oregon since being a kid when there was no Internet to listen/watch LSU games. Too much of a football fanatic to just not watch or have a team to follow. I chose the better of the two crappy teams in the state and boom 23 years later they aren't so crappy.
You should enjoy your win while a good taste is still in your mouth cause you will come back down to reality this Saturday. I'd say good luck to you but you'll need more than that.
