We had 2 highly recruited Saban/Miles players help us with some work.

Player #1 would not speak much, but when he did he spoke positively of both coaches and the program. He obviously favored Saban because that's who recruited him.

Player #2 would not shut up about his dislike for Saban and how he thought that Saban had screwed him...Player #2 quit the team before Miles became the coach.

Seriously, I know Jesse Daniels....

He said that when Saban was there, he walked in to the locker room and walked to his office and dropped his keys on his desk. It was well known by all that that sound signaled it was get serious time and not another word was spoken or joke was told, period. Saban didn't even have to speak, it was all business at that point....

It was not that way with Miles....way more relaxed and way less "fear" from the team.

He loved playing for both.....but Sabans discipline was understood and NEEDED as understood and accepted by the team...it just works better for football is his opinion.

That doesn't surprise me. I played for some real assholes growing up and as I got older I realized how good they were. I think Sabans ex players may think he is an arse but wouldn't change a thing if they could. The simple fact is he prepares kids for the NFL. Teams love kids that have been coached by Saban. It pays off for them in the end....winning is also great

So just ask away
Is it a goat or a mule that JJ has pics of Coach Miles with? I've heard both.

Coach Studrawa here! I just wanted to say to begin with, I don't know why y'all are so mean to me. Maybe by explaining the way I prepare for games you guys can back off a little.

I play NCAA 2013 on the PS#3, I created a running back that is a 99 in all categories. I named him Jeremy Hill fwiw. Let me tell you, all I do is run off tackle. Running off tackle= championships. It has worked for me in every game I have play.....prepared for. So Tiger fans be patient, don't be so quick to mix things up!!!!

Geaux Tigers!!!!!

BTW, Coach Chavis has not answered my emails about blitzing eight every time. I works for me!

I didn't play for either.....im old

But, I have spoken on many occasions with former Saban players. The hard working kids LOVED him.......they say he would've done anything for them. The free spirits had issues with him....

As others have said, Saban was all business.

Hired a guy who played under Miles at OSU. Said it was a fun atmosphere most of the time, but when it came time to get amped up, Miles turned on a switch and everyone knew it was time to get busy. Every single player loved him.

I've attended a spring practice for a class while Saban was at LSU. It was intense. How he doesn't have a constant headache or stage 2 hypertension is amazing.

I know a guy from OSU that played under Miles. He doesn't like Miles at all. But I think it might have to do with him bailing for LSU. Not 100% sure.

Rummy - you're not even Kevin Steltz (although you probably are taller).

Speaking of which, did you go to school with either/both of them, or are you older?
