It's a shame that people come here and make shite up just because they want Harris to start or hate Miles.
Posted on 6/20/15 at 8:34 am to Choctaw
No matter what people say on here, it was not Harris doing these things, so if Jennings cannot start due to his deeds then it is what it is. If Brandon Harris was to do something then he would be held accountable as well.

If It was Harris in this situation I suspect many people in this thread would have much much different opinions

Still in all, a good lawyer is going to have a field day with this. First he opens the door for the players. Secondly & most important, HE NEVER ASKS THEM TO LEAVE. HE WAS WILLING TO LET THEM SET ON THE COUCH AND WAIT, WHILE HE SAT IN HIS ROOM.
A lawyer! Yeah, a GOOD lawyer. That's the ticket. Come on, man, if this we t to trial - and it won't - the witness will say the football players intimdated him, and were very threatening. He'll say he was scared for his safety. On top of that, they supposedly broke down the other kid's door. If these things are true, the only thing that will get Thomas off the hook is the victim not pressing charges, not a GOOD lawyer.

Shut the door and call the cops...don't let them in and say "I'll be in my room" if you're so threatened and intimidated.

Sure, Choctaw, that's what he should have done. But that a scared kid didn't do the smart thing doesn't absolve the others.

I guess these idiots are going to have around the clock armed guards to keep them from being so stupid and reckless.
Chizik tried that and it worked out poorly. Kicking the bad apples out is the only way.

My guess is a one game suspension.
I guess they couldn't go to the police to recover their items because a friend discovered the location buying stolen goods.

What I'm interested to see is whether Jennings can prove the PS4 and shoes were his, and if so, will Anderson be booked a second time for possession of stolen goods?
It amazes me how this thread has completely ignored the fact that "the victim" has already been arrested and charged once over being in possession of the Macbook.

Good. Thanks, Anthony, for making the coach's job so much easier. Good luck. Let us know where you'll be the Fall.

OK. I'm seeing stuff about "now that the facts are out" but there's 53 pages here.
Can we get a summary of the current "facts" maybe put in the OP

Would anyone mind shooting me the cliff notes
Posted on 6/20/15 at 12:36 pm to Adam4848
Cliff Notes:
Someone stole shoes, a ps4, and a laptop from Jennings. AJ files a police report awhile back and at some point in time he gets "intel" on who has his stuff. So he, Bain, and Thomas go to this guy's apartment but only his roommate is home. Roommate let's the players in and they wait for alleged guy who has jennings' stuff. Roommate goes back to his room and the players then kick in the alleged guys door. Allegedly the stuff wasn't there but Thomas may have stolen some shoes from the guys room.
Honestly I think the players can consider themselves lucky. If the roommate would have had a gun, he would have been in his rights to shoot them as soon as they acted aggressively, which they did by kicking in a door. It could have went really bad really fast.

Not his door though so he's under zero threat by someone doing that. That dude would be really stupid to shoot people over stolen goods his roommate bought.

If you let 6 guys (large guys at that) into your home and the proceed to start kicking in doors and were speaking as aggressively as they allegedly were, it's entirely conceivable that he could say he felt he was in danger.
All it would take would be a single action that could he taken as aggressive and things could go bad quickly.

Some things in here are rt, but don't take this as gospel.

Wtf? Wca are dorms. You can't have a fricking fire arm on campus. You would be kicked out for having an air soft gun.
