And my entire thing about most of this wasnt that his family wasnt capable of, but that it wasnt likely that they did buy him those things.

Do you guys think Jordan Jefferson's family bought him 33 pairs of shoes or that they were given to him? I dont care about whether they were improperly given to him or not. The point is, I was implying that Jennings probably did not get his things from his parents because it's all known that players get cool shite all the time, most of the time legitimately and every once in awhile it's not. Yet, I was automatically assumed to be racist because I questioned whether or not his family bought that for him or not. It's pretty ridiculous actually.
And im directing that towards you Caterpillar. You were the one implying that Im racist. You automatically assumed that because I was skeptical about his mom buying him those things was because I assumed they had no money because they were black, when in reality I was asking because I was curious as to whether he received it improperly or not. It was pointed out wayyyy earlier that they receive simliar things in bowl packages all the time, yet you kept hammering the race thing just trying to pull it out of me. In fact, if you think I should be banned then I think you should be banned.

It doesn't matter where Jennings originally got the items in question. That information is tangential to the fact that he subsequently committed a felony.

If I had to guess, it could easily be from one of the bowl games. He has been to two now. They love to give these kids gaming consoles as a part of the "swag" they receive.
One of my favorite recruiting pictures is one Blake Ferguson posted of all the free swag he got from being invited to the Army All American game. It covered his entire bed. And that was for a highschool event.

No im not. You motherfrickers sure do like putting words in another persons mouth. I only thought that this story could have more stuff to it than it really did. I was wrong. It was given to him (more than likely) in some type of bowl package. It the went off into all kinds of tangent points where race was brought in by other and I will defend myself because everything I have said was spun. I dont think anyone received anything improperly, but was merely speculating that it could have been possible. It was pointed out that they get stuff like this all the time and that's the end of that. No more speculation. I just thought something bigger was coming out of this that could hurt LSU. That's all.

This will probably get reduced to a misdemeanor, the players will run a few laps, get a slap on the wrist, and be back in time for fall camp.

That was posted to prove a point about players get nice shite all the time, and much of it doesnt come from their parents so it wasnt that far of a reach for me to be skeptical that his mom didnt buy him a PS4 and he instead got his by being associated with LSU athletics is some way.
