Another boring “hype video”

History is a Hell of a Thing

Here we are again. The LSU media department puts out yet another hype video that consists of the following:

- Dumb, meaningless platitudes from a guest speaker. Things like “we will endure” and “history has taught us… that we will leave everything on the field!” (What the frick does this even mean?) and “this ain’t no volunteering, we have a job to do!” Who are we, Texas A&M?

- slow, boring, motivational music in the background that makes you want to fall asleep

- unimportant guest speaker (this somehow makes it cooler?)

I’m tired of this same song and dance. Just put up a sick edit of highlights with some rap music in the background. There are literally 14 year olds on tik tok that make better hype videos. My goodness.
