I can't believe they are doing this to NCS after doing it to us.

This is becoming absurd, the .25 HR/game of this CWS is almost completely neutering anything but small ball teams.

I agree its a nice park, but I am for keeping the bat and ball, they just need to move the wall in. No reason for pitchers to be able to throw what they want and rarely pay for it. They should have just as much pressure to perform as the batters and fielders.

NC State is an above average team with one stud pitcher. It was a great draw for LSU, but we didn't beat the Bunters.

Do you know how much it would cost to move the walls/change the bats for every team in America? Easiest solution is to use the MLB ball which is already in production. It would add 20 feet to shots and take away 20% of break on curve balls.

Give us wood bats and the pro ball.

I don't buy these bats are the same as wood.

Something needs to change, I just left TD Ameritrade, this was the second boring UCLA game I've watched...paint drying is more entertaining. I've seen at least 4 balls die at the warning track...ridiculous

No offense but I'm so glad I didn't make my first trek to Omaha this year. I would've been pissed seeing this now-nuetered college game in person.

Wood bats

Unrealistic.

Bats are fine. Balls are falling short because the NCAA seams are 1mm while MLB seams at .5mm. That results in 20 feet less distance and 20% more break on breaking balls.

No kidding. You can't serve up a pitch like that and get away with it. UCLA is the shittiest team in the tournament and they're 2-0 because of the new ball park.

I dont get it.. they dont raise the basket higher in the tourney in bball...or make the field 20 yds longer in football.

I am officially boycotting CWS games until they move up the fence. Too many teams are getting screwed bc of the deep yard. It has ruined the tournament.

Uhm, we lost due to a two-run homer.

None taken, I love college baseball and always wanted to go to Omaha for the CWS. It has been a great experience but would be much better if this "played" like the regular season stadiums. TD Ameritrade, while a great stadium experience sucks the life out of the game. The fence is the same as Rosenblatt but they shifted the axis, now the wind blows in...
Long balls die in this field. New bats, new balls, closer fences...something needs to change.

Why were we in the loser's bracket? Yes or No. LSU should have had 3 home runs by the end of the 4th inning Sunday?

That's not a fact.

The only fact is that was the 2nd home run hit. 2-0 was not the winning margin.
