This was awesome. We were next to the guys who "started" it.

that quarter was such a fun time. there really has been a lack of excitement this season, and after being cold, depressed, and angry for 3 quarters it was fun to just be able to get up and start moving and enjoying it.

it was such a unique thing to hear the stadium empty with all the echos and stuff as we made our comeback...and watching how well the players played for that one quarter.

This is the full story....So we are losing 31-3 in the 3rd quarter. Im in the drumline, and we look over and this kid is flappin his angel wings just like in angels in the outfield. Immediately the band starts doing it. Not long after, the maybe 10,000 real fans that were still there begin doing it. Next thing you know we score 37 unanswered points and win. It was incredible.

Ssshhh.. don't tell WikiTiger and Powerman!

Youngbeatz, off subject but I know TGBFTL usually comes down the hill about 1.5 hours before kick, but doesn't the drumline warm up at the greek theater sometime before that? When does that normally take place?

And, BTW, coming down the hill after dark Saturday was badazz! Great atmosphere for pregame. Too bad it didn't carry over into TS.

Yes we usually warm up by the greek theater about 2 or 2.5 hours before the game. We havent done it the past few weeks for various reasons but we will be there for the ole miss game.

My wife and two young daughters were at home with me in Texas watching the game on espn360.com on 2 computers. My girls saw the some of the crowd doing the angel flapping and they started doing it too! I laughed out loud, and my 11 year old kept going. Maybe it's too cool for some of you, but what the heck - we came back and won! Have a little fun while you're out there freezing and watching some football. Wish I had been there!

Also one of the players mentioned getting fired up seeing the fans doing the Angels in the outfield thing. I believe it was quoted in the Advocate.

I thought it was great. It took me a little while to figure out what they were doing.
